"Sure thing, Manager Hunt," the sales associates replied in unison.

"Hey, could you help me take a look at that blazer?" Evan, amused by Scott's charade, pointed at a British-style blazer and said to the sales associates with a smile, "That piece looks quite sharp. It would look handsome on me. Could you bring it down for me to try on?"

One of the sales associates, with a sharp face resembling a fox, was about to leave. Hearing Evan's request, she paused and threw a mocking glance over her shoulder at Scott, "Sir, why don't you browse the other section? There’s a sale going on, and it's quite a bargain."

However, the other sales associate, with a round face, quickly fetched a clothes pole, eager to assist Evan. A customer's request to try on clothes was commonplace. Even though the newly appointed Manager Hunt had just signaled not to attend to this particular customer, they were still a patron, and the employee handbook clearly stated that no customer should be neglected.
