Upon exiting the restaurant, Luna observed multiple buildings on fire throughout the streets. Traffic had come to a complete standstill, and people fled in one direction. Luna could not discern the source of this widespread destruction. She utilized her ability to manipulate air currents, lifting herself into the sky with a swift and controlled motion. Her white and gold form became visible to those evacuating, some of whom paused to watch. The appearance of a hero provided a semblance of hope amidst the chaos.

“Everyone, please move back and seek shelter! You are still within the designated danger zone for powered battles, and if you don’t want to become collateral damage, I suggest you all step back!” Arome’s voice rang out, his presence was powerful enough to draw the attention of the crowd to himself as he pointed at the direction they were running towards, drawing their attention from Luna, who was now on top of the restaurant.

“Who are you?” someone asked from within the crowd.

From the fissures emerged grotesque creatures, their bodies formed of molten rock and searing lava. The lava monsters lumbered towards the city, their sights set on the survivors and other civilians. Luna's heart pounded in her chest as she leaped off Inferno Rex, landing gracefully on the ground below."Arome, we've got more trouble!" she called out, her voice urgent. "Lava monsters are heading for the civilians. We need to stop them!"Arome, still busy evacuating people from the burning buildings, glanced over his shoulder and nodded. "I'll handle the monsters. You take down the pyromaniac!"Luna squared her shoulders, her resolve steeled. She would not let the city fall to this fiery menace. With fierce determination, she turned her focus back to Inferno Rex and the pyromaniac, ready to end this battle once and for all.The air crackled with energy as Luna faced off against Inferno Rex’s monstrous creation. This was no ordinary battle; it was a clash of titans, a test of wills and

Arone switched the ammo clip, using almost the entire clip to bring one of the Lava monsters down. He scowled; there were at least a dozen of those things heading in his direction, and there was no time to hold back. He has been burnt to death with the flames of hell before, he was not looking forward to what lava would feel like. It was time to stop holding back. Luna had the villain already occupied, so at the very least, he could afford to let loose a bit.The second salvo of shots was not just fired, even with how draining this skill was; Arome called upon his [Heavy Blow] skill. With the skill active, the impact and damage of his bullets or any of his weapons was multiplied by 3. He has not had a chance to upgrade the soldier skill tree because he never thought he’d have used it any time soon. After all, he was trying to be a manager, not a superhero. Fighting on the frontlines was a whole different ball game.Arome's hands moved with practiced precision as he reloaded the assaul

  • Superhero Manager System    A Matter Of Jurisdiction

Arome ignored the arrival of the UNCH heroes that were supposed to be here to handle this problem. Even more disappointing was the fact that after a few minutes had passed in this battle, there were no signs of first responders. He turned to Luna and pointed at the still-smoldering fires and the damaged buildings on the street.“It might be a little too much for you to fix the entire street, but can you at least put out all the fires? I’ll help to move the injured out of the way until the police and hospitals get here. The heroes from the UNCH would probably posture a bit about stepping onto their turf and operating outside our jurisdiction. I’ll handle them, besides, we have achieved the best outcome from this situation we possibly can, even though we could not catch the bad guy.” As he said that, Arome nodded towards the crowd of people further down the road with their cameras lit up. Even some of the lightly injured civilians close by had been either recording or streaming Arome’s

“Severance, real name Domingo Yen. He is rumored to have awakened a kinetic power, the UNCH calls it a Kinetic edge. With it, he can carve up people and buildings into various art pieces, mainly arranging them in a manner of food art.” Arome explained.“Food art?” Luna asked with a raised eyebrow. Arome shrugged.“Yeah, like how those chefs in fancy restaurants will make your tuna look like a bird or make a face with spaghetti or something like that.”“Okay, got it,” Luna replied with a thumbs up. Arome rolled his eyes, sometimes the woman was a little too exuberant.“He worked as a chef in his family’s restaurant before he awakened. When he did, he proceeded to carve his entire family apart or rather artfully give them new forms, as the police reports said when he was first arrested. His stepmother and stepsiblings mainly got the full brunt of his attention. His father survived, but as a eunuch. A psych evaluation says he grew up in an abusive home. His mother had died when he was ve

  • Superhero Manager System    Chasing Leads

Getting things set up was easy, this more than showed that if the UNCH wanted to find someone, they would be able to find them easily. The deal with severance was baffling, the UNCH had not made a move to send a more powerful hero against this guy. Not of the power Severance had showed that he could hide from detection. The only reason Severance would not have been found was if someone was making it so. But then again, the UNCH was shirt staffed, most of their most powerful heroes are kept within major cities in the world, while many of them were off world, keeping the peace’ in other planets in the galaxy.Nevertheless, Arome had been able to find the address of Severance, aka Domingo Yen’s father. The man was under some sort of witness protection, but nothing could be hidden from the UNCH. Now, this was the only lead that they had, and even with all the tools that had been brought to bear, there was not a single sign of Severance after a week. It was strange because even while they

As they crossed the threshold, the atmosphere shifted. The lobby of the apartment complex was dimly lit, the shadows creating an almost oppressive sense of foreboding. The guards led them through the modern but starkly decorated hallways, their footsteps echoing off the polished marble floors.Arome’s eyes flickered over the minimalist art on the walls and the sleek furniture, noting every possible advantage or threat. Rowan, ever the vigilant partner, mirrored Arome’s caution, his hand resting just above his concealed weapon. The tension that had been palpable outside was only amplified within these confined walls.Stopping before an elevator, one of the guards pressed a button, and the doors slid open with a soft chime. Arome stepped inside, his every nerve on high alert. He turned to face the guards, who remained at the entrance, their expressions inscrutable."You can take it from here," one of them said curtly, with a sinister grin etched on his face as the doors began to close.

If they were being spied on, then Arome knew leaving this place would be easier said than done. Arome was able to find a connection with how Severance has been able to evade capture. But it was not something he could tell Rowan here. At the very least, he was banking on the fact that since he did not mention any names, they would not be sure if he found anything out at all. But the Prince was not stupid; when has things ever been that easy for him? Just before he left the room, he opened the bag and pulled out his Lion helm, placing it on his head with a pneumatic hiss.“You should get ready for a fight; make sure to check all your gears. Leaving this place is going to be harder than entering,” Arome ordered as he took his advice and decided to check his gear. Since Bertha and Bert had sent it back, he has not had the chance to look through it and see what new additions they must have made to it. Plus, he had a skill that could give him a more in-depth description of his gear. It was

Arome crashed to the ground in a pool of his own blood. Severance burst into a wild and raucous laughter as he spread his arms wide. He turned hoping to find the look of despair he was so overly fond of, etched in the faces of Arome’s comrades. Instead, he watched wide eyes as they systematically dismantled the force he came with, his eyes drawn to the way Luna literally turned the bodies of his allies inside out. It was a scene that spoke to him and shook him to his very core. He took a step back, watching as the last of his allies were either subdued or killed. Leaving him alone against the rest of them.“I would advise you to run, your leader, Mr. prince has already fallen to me. He’s dead, cut into pieces like the animal that he is. • Severance Vs The White Lion I

Arome stared at Severance as the super villain looked right back at him. There was an obvious tension in the air as both men were waiting for the other to make the first move. Arome was not stupid, he knew he had to be extremely careful when it came to Severance, his power was the sort that could not be dealt with in a straight forward manner. Arome inclined his head towards the katana that Severance held as he asked.“Do you know how to use that?” he asked as he turned and nodded to Aminu. Who gave him a bow and pulled up the case holding Arome’s own sword from under the bar’s counter. Severance raised an eyebrow. “What?, you want to have some sort of sword duel with me or something. I should warn you, I am a lot more dangerous than you think I am, you can not match me in a fight with blades, I will tear you to shreds.” Arome scoffed as he nodded his head.“That may be so, but you’re still going to be the one that ends up dead. So answer my question, do you know how to use that?” A

  • Arrival

Arome sat in his modest room, the flickering glow of the television casting long shadows across the room. The news anchor's voice was solemn, relaying the chilling details of another brutal attack in the heart of the city. "Authorities have confirmed that the notorious villain known as Severance has struck again, leaving a trail of chaos and death in his wake. The latest incident occurred late last night in an abandoned apartment complex, where several high-profile criminal figures were found dead along with their families. Witnesses report seeing a lone figure, wielding a katana, moving through the area with lethal precision. The police are urging citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity." Arome sighed, his mind racing with thoughts of the relentless killer who seemed to evade capture at every turn. He knew that Severance was no ordinary criminal; his methods were too refined, too calculated. This was a predator with a purpose, and it was becoming increasingly

  • Excitement For Bloodshed

Mayor Akiko's office was bathed in the dim glow of the city lights that filtered through the tall windows. She stood by her desk, her silhouette sharp against the backdrop of the sprawling metropolis. With a quick, decisive motion, she picked up the phone and dialed Severance’s number. The phone rang only once before Severance answered, his voice a deep rumble. "Severance here.""Severance, we have a situation that requires immediate action," Akiko's voice was calm, each word meticulously chosen. "Prince Arome and his companions cannot be allowed to continue their operations. They have become a thorn in our side, one that must be removed.""Understood, Mother," Severance replied, his tone firm and resolute.Akiko's expression tightened at the term, but she pressed on. "The club is their stronghold," Akiko explained, her fingers tapping rhythmically on the desk. "It’s heavily guarded, but we have the element of surprise. Gather Zhang and his crew. The air in the mayor's office was thick with tension, a storm brewing just beneath the surface. Mayor Akiko stood behind her grand oak desk, her eyes blazing with fury. The veins on her neck and temples were visibly pulsing as her rage reached a crescendo. This was not the composed, calculating politician the city knew; this was a woman on the edge, a force of nature about to unleash her wrath. With a primal scream, Akiko's hands swept across the desk, sending papers, files, and ornaments crashing to the floor. The sound of breaking glass echoed through the room as picture frames and trinkets shattered against the walls. Her once immaculate office was rapidly transforming into a scene of chaos and destruction. She grabbed the edge of the desk and overturned it with a roar, the heavy wood slamming onto its side. The sheer force of her anger seemed to reverberate through the room, shaking the very foundations of the building. Bookshelves were next to face her wrath, their contents spill

  • Confessions In A Meeting

Arome took a deep breath, trying to steady the whirlpool of emotions that Luna had stirred within him. He could still feel the phantom touch of her lips, the fiery imprint of her slap, and the tantalizing promise in her words. It was maddening, this dance of desire and duty. He knew he had to focus, to clear his mind and prepare for the dinner. There were important matters to discuss, yet his thoughts kept circling back to the twins. He stood up, his body tense with unresolved need, and made his way to his quarters. The room was sparse, almost utilitarian, a stark contrast to the opulence he had been accustomed to as a prince. He began to strip off his gear, his movements automatic and efficient, honed by years of military discipline. The familiar routine helped to ground him, to bring some semblance of order to his chaotic thoughts. As he changed into more casual attire, his mind wandered again to Astra. Sweet, gentle Astra who had endured so much. The thought of her suffering stirre

Arome woke up with a headache, this was the last time he was going to use his head to stop a punch. When Berth and Bertha and told him that he could use his head to smash a hole through walls, he had gotten the idea into his head that he had a skull that could smash through anything. Unfortunately he has had to learn his lessons the hard way, so no more stopping super powered punches with his head. He tried to get up, hit he immediately felt a weight on his right side, he turned to see that Astra had fallen asleep on his shoulder. He frowned, not because he was not happy about the situation, but because he could tell she was having a nightmare. The way she shook and whispered to herself, and the way her hands grabbed onto his suit.Instead of moving away he pulled her closer, his hands moving through her hair. It was silky smooth, and considering both sisters had locks of curly hair that fell in waves on their head, it was surprisingly easy to run his hands through those locks. Arome

When Demetrius showed up with an unconscious Arome, Astra and the temple guard siblings felt their hearts jump into their throats.“What happened to him?” Astra asked, almost immediately a tendril of dark energy seemed to waft of her body, clinging to her form like the haze of a mirage. Almost instantly everyone around her felt a little bit sick, even Demetrius could not withstand the force of Astra’s power.“Calm down, the fool gave himself a concussion when he decided to use his head to stop a punch form a super that can turn her entire body to metal. He passed out on the way here. His power should have him back up and causing trouble as usual in a few hours. In the main time he needs rest, while the rest of us must prepare for the scenario of retaliation from the police captain and the mayor f the city.” Rowan said as he moved past everyone not even flinching from the feel of Astra’s dark matter power.“How can you be, okay?” Amina could not help but ask, a sheen of sweat covering

  • Mayor Akiko Zhang

Arome chuckled. The plot thicken I guess, seems the big boss heard I paid her brother a visit. Arome smiled underneath his helm, as it stands, he no longer needed any proof that the police captain, and his wife the mayor of San-Franmikyo had significant connections with Severance. But still Arome doubted Akiko Zhang was here to confess her sins. In fact, considering the way she was glaring at him, she wanted nothing more than to put a bullet through his head.“Where is my brother? What have you done with him?” she asked, her tone showing that she wanted nothing more than the answers she required.“The old man got away? Good for him. It doesn’t matter how good it looked or was furnished; a prison is still a prison. And I don’t think it’s fair you would lock the old man up when all he did was raise your psychotic sword wielding illegitimate child!” the atmosphere in the room went cold as Akiko’s eyes widened in shock. If they widened any wider, Arome was sure her eyes would pop out of
