Superhero Manager System Hidden Danger
“Assassinate The Blights.” For a moment Arome was not sure what he had just heard, when the silence continued he couldn’t help but speak up. “You have got to be kidding me.” “What? You can’t do it?” the COO’s voice rang out through the Intercom, in an almost taunting manner. Arome paused, taking a moment to distance himself from his growing trauma and the stress his mind had been under all morning. There were too many inconsistencies in the way the COO was talking to him. It made him think back to earlier, before all this trouble had started. Back during the interview, she had quoted one of the generals from the UNCH, having an important military secret that should have only been known to the Royal and Military heads of the Idu Kingdom, and lastly to the United Nations Council Of Heroes. Of course, it meant she had to pull with them, and could at least get hands or some information about him…but he was a prince. There were certain levels of information that should never have been ava
Superhero Manager System Stores and Skill Trees
The system’s store unfurled like a scroll, the illusory screen he could only see, changing in theme. He did not know if that was significant to the system, or just a matter of style, but he kept his eyes sharp and his mind open. Whatever extra knowledge he could glean from the system would go a long way in him not just understanding this new tool of his, but figuring out how best to use it, and if at all it’s a threat or going to be a threat to him. The store itself was rather simple, two columns and about five rows with five items listed there next to their prices.E Rank Manager Store• Defense Card: 3 Points• Attack Card: 3 points• Presence Booster: 10 Points• Charm Booster: 10 Points• Intellect Booster: 15 PointsIf Arome had to pick a word to describe what he was looking at right now, the word would be disappointing. But then again, this was an E-rank manager store. Perhaps when he gets to D rank, the store will be updated and look a lot better than it currently did. The only
Superhero Manager System Fear Of Death
Invisibility peeled off the woman’s form like dried flakes of paint off a wall. She leaned down to get a closer look at Arome, cursing softly as she did so. Since she was on a job she could not wear glasses. Nothing screams human sacrificing cultists, like a pair of prescription lenses. She shook her head, throwing her dark locks out of her eyes. Just in time for Arome to jump right up and sock her in the jaw.*Crack!*“Ahh! Son of a bit-““I dare you to finish that sentence.” Arome glared at the cultist as he scrambled back up to his feet and took a couple of steps away from her. He was out in the stairwell now and only had one direction to go; up. The cultist in front of him was blocking the path down, and consider he just punched her in the face, using all of his strength, only to get a broken hand in return. This told him he was definitely up against someone he could not match physically. He had thought she was a demon, but it turned out she was human, with superhuman durability
Superhero Manager System Dying On His Terms
This was probably a bad idea. Without a doubt this was the first thought that crossed Arome’s mind the moment he felt that first second of weightlessness. But there was no time for regrets, not anymore. The wind billowed past his ear as he dropped, far faster than he had expected, as his heart jumped into his mouth, beating hard as fear and adrenaline sent It into overdrive. The goon that has been standing outside the stairwell on the walls, only had a few seconds to open his eyes wide in shock, before Arome slammed into him.*Smack!*The sound was wet and fleshy and the impact shattered bones. Whatever ability the goon had to stick to surfaces, it was completely eliminated as Gravity dragged the both of them down. As they fell Arome was able to notice that the floor the goon had been waiting on, had a few other goons gathered there. There was something important happening there, or someone in important. But that was no longer something he had to worry about. They fell at least ten fl
Superhero Manager System Tarak The Possessed I
Arome was happy to answer that question for her as he sprang up suddenly, grabbing a hold of the female cultist’s leg. He pulled, tripping the woman as she tipped to the side and smashed her head into the side of the railing besides her. A loud clang rang out as she crumpled to the ground, but Arome was already on the move.Five opponents meant he had to move swiftly, he might even have to die once or twice just to be able to deal with them all. But he was already off to a good start, with one of them down, and the rest of them still shocked by the fact a dead body has just risen, Arome knew he had the initiative, and he pushed it.He barreled into the chest of another cultist, the hunting knife in his hand stabbing forwards over and over again, even as the cultist screamed in pain. Arome pushed hi backwards, the knife still leaving holes in the cultist’s body as Arome’s hand became slick with the blood of his opponent. They hit the wall, and the next stage went
Superhero Manager System Defective
TEN YEARS AGO:Arome looked at his grandfather with trepidation in his heart, with as much courage as he is known to have, none of that matters in the face of a force as powerful as the King of Idu. From his spot before the throne, Arome shook slightly. It was forbidden to look the king in the eyes, but it was his grandfather’s iron-clad rule that all his descendants looked him in the eye whenever he was addressing them. It showed respect and it showed strength… Arome would rather run in the opposite direction. The aura this man has was beyond intimidating.“Nothing? " Are you sure you have tried everything you can?” his voice boomed across the throne room, causing Arome to wince slightly as his father took it upon himself to respond to his grandfather.“No, honored father. Whatever gene is responsible for our ability to connect to the cosmic lion and develop our Lion Star abilities… it seems it might have skipped a generation with Arome. But that doesn’t mean he-““SILENCE!”Arome sw
Superhero Manager System Anticlimactic
He roared, rushing forwards. The two cultists that had been standing in front of him while Tarak punched a hole through his chest were shocked to see him. However, with Tarak here they did not think they had much to worry about. Well…at least until Arome whipped out the revolver he had painstakingly kept hidden through all of his ordeals, after defeating the female cultist with super strength and durability. The shock at seeing a barrel pointed in their direction could not be compared to what came next as Arome decided to use the skill he had gained from his system. It was instinctive for him, almost as if it was something he always knew how to do.While he was not sure if it would work for a revolver, Arome was left with no choice but to try. His life was already in severe danger, and he needed an advantage over the Tarak guy, or all he would be able to do was to keep dying for him, over and over again. But in order to do th
Superhero Manager System Floor 350 I
“H-help!”“Huh?”Arome turned his head to the side. The first of the cultists he had attacked was still alive. He gave the woman a closer look as he walked towards her, with slow, steady steps. He could see her tremble. As tears slid down the side of her eye, Arome shook his head, a grin on his lips as he inclined her head to the side to see the extent of her injuries. He winced, her brain was exposed and pieces of her hair, skin and skull still clung to the railing where Arome had smashed her head into.“Do you want help?” he asked her, as her eyes widened in shock at his question. More tears slid down her eyes as she barely raised her head to nod, the pain immense and the weakness in her body getting stronger by the second. Despair hung in the depths of her eyes. Anyone could tell that she did not want to die, but considering the current state of things, Darius doubted she had any right to have such thoughts.“Well don’t worry, I’m going to help you.” Arome did not even waste time a

The First Mission
While construction was still ongoing on their base, Arome decided he needed to get in on the action. He was getting tired of waiting around and playing politics. As it was he had already sent Aunty Kemi back home, she was the head of the temple guards and had duties she needed to handle. Plus, she could not refute an order from his father, so she left with the crown prince.Arome gritted his teeth. His father being the crown prince was a title that was just there for show. He shook his head, there was no need to dwell on anything other than what was in front of him, and that was choosing the first mission that their team would have to deal with.Arome sat at his cluttered desk, a holographic catalog shimmering in front of him. The digital pages flipped silently, revealing detailed profiles of the world's most notorious villains. Each entry was accompanied by high-resolution images, crime statistics, and a dossier of their known powers and abilities. He scrolled past images of menacing
The Way Of Art
Somewhere In San-FranmikyoGrand States of Merica.Domingo Yen was many things, but a supervillain was not one of them. Those freakshows in their edgy costumes and self-righteousness, existed to make life miserable for everyone. They took away valuable artistic materials, these bastards done know they kill too much with their fights. They did not leave enough skin and concrete for his artful carvings to come to life.“Ahhh, I hate supervillains so much. They ruin all my materials.”“If you’re not a supervillain then what are you, asshole! a serial killer?”Domingo Yen turned onto the secluded street near the bay. He could hear the sound and spray of the sea, a powerful natural force that moved through everything. This inspired him greatly. He was dressed in his samurai kimono, his chest bare to the world and crisscrossed with garish scars that could haunt the dreams of the most resilient warrior. The oni mask on his face hung crooked to one side, exposing enough of his face and single
The Offer II
Arome gave an annoyed look to the glass that had just poisoned him, the secretary even continued to drink leisurely from his, acting unbothered. But nevertheless, everything this man just said has him more than a little worried. A virus that only this ability can heal, he found it hard to believe. There was another angle at play here, and regardless of what threats or offers this man threw his way, Arome would never willingly throw himself into dying over and over again, not unless he had no other choice.“I’m afraid I can’t help your Mr. secretary. Since you’ve never experienced it before, and seeing how hard you are trying to avoid it, dying is not fun. And only a fool will completely subject himself to death repeatedly. You don’t have nearly enough money in your bank account to make me do this. In case you’ve forgotten, I am still a prince. Our kingdom might not be worth much out in the wider world and cosmos, but we are still reasonably self-sufficient. I have no need for money, s
The Offer
Arome came back alive, choking on his own blood. He quickly turned to the side where he disgorged the entire contents of his stomach, dry heaving and struggling to breathe with each cow clench of his stomach. His suit was bloodied and smelled rather foul, whatever it was this virus was, it seemed like it was specially designed for supers.“I have to say that I am surprised, I did not expect you to survive that. And if you can survive that, it seems it would take me blasting you to atoms in a nuclear chamber before I can end you for good. There’s no guarantee if I chuck you into the sun you will survive, that might even strengthen you, the sun is a star in the end.”Arome gave him the middle finger, as he got back up to his feet and stumbled towards the door, he needed to get the hell out of here before he would do something he’d regret.”“And where are you going?” The secretary asked, looking amused as Arome stumbled away from him.“Isn’t it obvious, I'm getting away from your psychot
The Teacher
Unfortunately, Arome could not escape the event as quickly as he had wanted to, not before he had a one-on-one meeting with the secretary of the UNCH. It was how Arome found himself following the Secretary’s secretary down an empty hallway before coming before a set of massive double doors. The secretary moved to the side and pointed at the door. It seems from here on out Arome would have to go by himself.Arome took a deep breath and pushed the doors open, stepping into a room that was a stark contrast to the dimly lit hallway. The secretary's office was a masterpiece of luxury and grandeur, a testament to the power and influence that the position held. The room was bathed in a warm, golden light that seemed to emanate from the crystal chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling, their prisms casting a delicate dance of light upon the intricately patterned marble floor. The walls were adorned with rich, dark wood paneling, each segment carved with meticulous detail, telling stories of
The Summon II
“By order of his majesty you are not return home and take on an official post.”Arome’s eyes took on a hard edge on that, he might have a lot of guilt towards his parents, but there was no love lost between him and his grandfather. Some of the worst things he has ever had to do, had come from his orders. His grandfather was a different kind of monster that no one in the whole kingdom could match up to. He was ready and willing to use anyone and anything to get what he wanted.“I’m afraid I will have to decline father. As you can see, I have commitments and an agency to run. Idu does not need me to take on any posts. Besides any post that I can take up has already been filled, the kingdom already has a crown prince in the process of carrying out his ten years of service. And I am not coming back so that I can play second fiddle to him and his bastard father1!”Arome’s father hissed in annoyance as he slammed his hands on the table in front of him, the sound so loud that Astra jumped in
The Summon I
Arome was not stupid, he had gone completely off the script that had been given to him by the UNCH. But he didn’t care either way, this was his way of showing them that he was playing along, but also a reminder that they did not own him, not anymore at least. And what was the worst they could do to him, kill him? The last people that had thought killing Arome would solve their problems, had ended up finding out the hard way that he was not so easily gotten rid of. But still he had been able to make an impact, the tabloids would have a field day with the announcement and the speech. Those who were smart enough would have noticed the careful placed barbs in his words, his subtle way of throwing shade at the UNCH. For sure they would notice it, and he knew there would be a reckoning coming from them. The only way to do so would be to get so much stronger they would not be able to do anything to him. But they won’t make any moves early on, of course he was sure they would try and sabotag
The Event III
Propaganda, politics, games the elite play with the lives of the common man. Arome was now firmly stepping into that world. He was no longer a teenager with bristling anger against the world. A boy who could only see everything that had happened to him as unfair as he asked repeatedly why his grandfather did not love him. A boy who grew up seeing his father take care of their people wholeheartedly, teaching lessons of kindness, responsibility and the upholding of traditions in order to honor your ancestors. But most importantly, living your life the right way so that the person you see in the mirror, was someone you could be proud of. Arome’s entire life has been one bad choice after the other. The military might have been his grandfather’s orders, a punishment for a Wayward prince absent the family bloodline, but he had chosen to stay there. His banishment had been from his grandfather’s court, not the kingdom, but his own anger and stubbornness drove him into a life that filled with
The Event II
Arome grunted as his name was called out, this was definitely unexpected as he did not expect that he would have to be called up to the center stage in front of everyone else here. Was he expected to give a speech? No one told him about that, and given the irritating smirk on his cousin’s face, it became obvious there was more going on that what he could currently see. On the stage ahead, reporters arranged themselves in front of it. This was both a dinner and a press conference at the same time, but it seems Bayo was trying to find a way to make this as embarrassing of an experience for Arome as he could possibly. There was a subtle balance of power within the UNCH, and he has finally stepped up to muddy his toes in their dirty waters. Unfortunately, whatever camp Bayo seems to fall under, it seems they have already established themselves as enemies. As Arome walked up to her stage, he could feel the eyes of everybody present on him. The most significant being those of the dignita
