Nux knew that he wasn't fast enough, and the terrain wasn't to his advantage. His opponents were aerial too, further worsening the situation.

"Doesn't mean I'll loose though." He acknowledged.

He came to a grinding halt and turned around in one smooth motion, he faced his palms towards each other and placed them by his side, close to his hip.

Fire began to charge in between them, and as the birds got closer, he compressed the flames that had gathered and threw his palms out, unleashing a beam right at them.

Large swathes of them dropped to the ground, dead, but a large number of them remained.

Nux didn't slow down after that first move and immediately attacked again. His punched out, and a short burst of flame went out and killed some birds again.

The birds were weak individually, and their strength lied in their large Numbers, so each burst of flame took out at least two to three birds.

Some seconds later, Nux realised that his efficiency was lacking, and his Mana was draining
