Soaring

The Original Beast Soul, veiled by a curtain of abysmal darkness, stared at its master.

Nux couldn't see it's face, but he could feel it's penetrating stare.

The Beast Soul stood on the water, but a tide of darkness never stopped pouring out of it's body, forming a base beneath that made it seem as if Nux's Beast Soul and the water, were one.

The staring contest continued on for a minute, before Nux heard a word in his mind.

"Limit."

Nux didn't know if all Beast Souls could communicate with their masters like this, so he thought of it as his Beast Soul being unique.

"I have reached my limit?" Nux iterated. "Just like I thought."

His Beast Soul didn't reply and simply stared at him some more.

Nux felt a touch on his body, and jumped out of his Soul Sea just to see Vivian staring at him.

"Bind the beast quick. I don't have much time to waste."

Nux sighed. 'It seems I have no choice.'
