P.O.V – ARTHUR

"I sit at the dinner table putting a spoon of rice in my mouth as I keep glancing at the two people who had barged into our house, just a look at them and I can perceive incredible power over flowing from them.

Power so strong it is astonishing even to me, the lady although looking calm having a ferocious aura around and the man having a dense heavy aura, and although incredible I still feel they are weaker compared to my dad whom I can only perceive a little calm dormant power lying within, well that could just be me being partial towards my father.

Apparently this two awesome people are both constellations, Archilles being the constellation – SCORPIO and Athena being the constellation – LYBRA .

In this world constellations are like supreme beings that guard the earth, they are rarely seen except in cases of dangers that pose a threat to the continent or the earth.

There exist twelve constellations, two placed per continent aside from Antarctica and Australia having one each, and here in Europe we have the Constellations Scorpio and Lybra, and It should be shocking having those two in our house right now but for some reason I do not feel so, I mean aside from the astonishing power I do not see anything special about them, well…

"Ooh Mr Scorpio just caught me looking, well I would like to go against him at least once…"

"That's not happening Arthur!" my mum asserts as if she read my mind.

"I didn't even say anything"

"You didn't need to"

Archilles drops his spoon "The food was sumptuous".

"Thank You for the food Lady Aeriel" Athena comments.

"No biggie" mum responds as she clears the table.

Mr Scorpio looks at Ares "How's the preparation for the up coming Mara Festival going son?"

Oliver interrupts before Ares could answer.

"Yh I heard Beatrix mentioned something about that, but didn't they just enter Binary College?"

"Yh they just did and as you know, Binary Colleges have only three years before graduating as a Cadet before becoming a pro hunter, and according to normal procedures you would have to be in at least the A-Class of the second year, to be eligible to participate In the Mara Competition"

"But when this three had just been admitted a week ago and entered the school ground two days ago they beat up three upper class men in the third year class-C, and you should be aware of how crazy that old man, the Binary Head is, he watched the fight… or rather the beat up and was enticed, so he decided to give the newcomers a chance to see if they would shine or if they would dull out, so he enlisted them for the festival"

"Beating people up on your first day huh?" Dad smiles at me.

"They tried to pick on us first"

Ares scoffs "It was a bold move trying to pick on the top three candidates in the entire continent chosen by not just any college but the Binary College the top colleges of every continent"

"Especially Beatrix here" I added.

Ares burst into laughter "You should have seen it, she turned two of them to ugly lumps of flesh hahaha…"

"Yh I've been meaning to ask who she is, this Beatrix, she only told me her name and nothing else"

Ares answers his father

"Well she has been friends since Arthur was three, according to Arthur he caught her trying to steal something from a provision store and pointed at her direction to his mum, after picking something that looks like a tiny loaf of bread the little girl not over the age of four ran out avoiding eyes of the store personels".

Arthurs mum for some reason followed her outside, and followed her until she got to where seemed to be where the little girl stayed it was an abandoned apartment with a little room detached from the main building, she enters the room, it is had not was wretched looking with cobwebs everywhere, she spots the liitle girl at the corner trying to eat that little loaf of bread when she looks up and spots the lady carrying a child standing at her door.

From the outside a lean looking man and a lady both looking like they had not eaten for a week spots the woman standing at their door, they both look at each other, the mans fists begin to glow with a blueish aura, the lady spawns fire on the palm of her hands they both look like they are about to attack the woman standing at their door, the lady with two balls of flames brings her hands together as if trying to fuse and compress those two balls of flame, she succeeds and stretches her almost closed hands forward and fires a stroke of flame although not large in size but carrying tremendous power.

"Go" the lady signals to the man as soon as it is shot.

The man leaps toward the woman just falling short a little of the flames speed, just as the flame is about to hit the woman at the door the woman waves her left hand towards the flame and it just vanishes the lady along with the man who followed in for a follow up attack after the flame hits are both shocked at what the woman had just did.

The man still in motion is stopped at the foot by a thick vine which stops him in his tracks, more vines begin to sprout from the ground the wraps the man pulling him to his knees and then to lie cheeks flat on the ground, the woman still in a daze is slammed face flat to the ground by some kind of force and is knocked out immediately, the woman does all this having her back still facing them not even turning her face to take a glance at who she was up against.

"Have we finally been caught?" the man wrapped up in vines says to himself as he looses consciousness looking at the back of the woman who they had just tried to attack.

Inside the house is now clean, Aeriel now sitting on a chair made of vines carrying her child with one leg crossed.

The two humans who had attacked her from behind earlier the man bearing the name Ricky and the lady bearing the name Christine alongside the little child whom Aeriel had followed, whom apparently was their child are now kneeling before her like children who had done something wrong awaiting punishment completely silent.

Aeriel breaks the silence.

"So you were once professionals who had been working with the Government but got involved in a shady deal and now you are on the run from the Association huh?"

"We did not participate in the deal ma, we were just unlucky that the people we were tasked to guard where criminals whom the Association had been looking for ma" Ricky replied.

"But as B-rank professional hunters working for the Government should be more convenient than working for the association and your pay should be enough that you wouldn't need to participate in extra jobs like guarding don't you think?"

Christine this time speaks.

"We were suddenly contacted by a group of suspicious people saying they had a good job for us that pays very high and all we needed to do was to protect them on their journey from London to Manchester, we refused at first cause it seemed suspicious but the money offered was something we had never laid our eyes upon before, and before long greed took over and we accepted the job, and that's how we got ourselves in this mess".

"We were used as fodder to delay the pursuit of the association" Ricky says with a look of frustration on his face.

"I will give both a chance due to your cute daughter here, I do not believe she needs to suffer the sins of her dumb parents"

Two vines pop up from from behind them each pointing at their necks.

"Do not move" Aeriel speaks in a commanding tone.

The tip of the vines becomes thick and and sharp, it begins to make an inscription on their bodies, a kind of mark that looks like a 'D' on top of a 'W'.

"Show this to the Association President and say, 'You just need to let us go' okay?"

Ricky and Christine still in pain manage to utter "Yes MA!".

Aeriel with a smile gives the little girl a big loaf of bread and some beverages and she walks out.

As she walks out Arthur who is on his mothers arms keeps looking at the little girl, Beatrix.

They keep looking at each other and just as Arthur was about to go out of sight he waves at her and she waved back.

The two humans, Ricky and Christine still in disbelief not knowing what to do decided to try it out.

They are caught and they requested fervently an audience with the Association President, after sometime they are granted audience with the Association President.

To their greatest surprise as soon as the Association President saw the sign glowing on their necks he shivered in fear, he got himself together and with his head facing down sitting down he asked how and where they got the mark from, they explain everything to him, he then asked if there was any message to be delivered to him.

"You just need to let us go" the couple responds, following as they were told.

The Association President calls for a hunter from outside, "Release them, get them a fine building and deposit some money into their accounts".

The two still in shock are escorted out, the two walking out amazed at how a great man like the Association President in the Level of the legendary Binary Rank was shaken by just the mark of a woman, just who in the hell have they encountered.

As they step out the Association Head sighs with his left hand over his face he says to himself.

"Of course you were still alive Witch Of Destruction".
