please give review and comments for both of my books. thank you!
Daemon was standing still with not even an ounce of his blood on the floor. He endured that punch of Rickey and took it head-on. Nor did it seem like it hurt or nobody could spot even a bruise on him. Daemon stood grinning, watching the baffled faces of everyone. They all expected the battle to end with that clash, but Daemon somehow survived that supposed final strike of Rickey. Fred and Rickey frowned with wide eyes, while Tejasv let out a sigh of relief and smirked. His faith stood tall before his foes."How the hell did he survive the strike that would even thrash boulders to bits and mash them into sand? Is that his skill? No, he must have something as a weapon or armor. Maybe it's something I don't even know." Fred thought inwardly. While Rickey had some thoughts of his own, one should assume he had his head blanched with that outrageous battle. He swallowed and backed off from Daemon. He tried to clear his jumbled head, "W-what happened? Why is he still alive after that? I could
While others focused on the strange event, Rickey chortled aloud. He said with a smirk, "Well, Daemon I'm not as good a fighter as you, but I know how to leave a wound on my opponent even when I'm defeated. You may not have realized it, but I kept punching you again and again in the same place while enduring your beating. One of my punches may have been like a flea to you, but with numerous of them, now you feel the pain..haha."Daemon realized he had made a mistake by considering himself to be mighty and greater in every battle. However, his ignorance got him good. Although this injury won't harm him much, it would hinder him for some time in recent battles.Daemon grunted with fury, and Rickey laughed with ecstasy. After a momentary pause, even Daemon let out a slight chuckle. He never felt such a thing in any of his last fights. It was a hilarious event for him, and so he felt a deep thrill.Daemon acclaimed, "Haha... you did well. I didn't think you could have wounded me even after
Rickey saw that condemning gaze of Fred, who looked towards him with a frowning brow and a scornful and disgusting expression. Rickey knew Fred had little to no value to his subordinates. That much was advertised in his expressions even when Rickey was on his deathbed. A great lord would wish at least a farewell towards his subordinate that was dying fighting for him. However, Fred wasn't a lord, he was just a scheming strategist. Fred realized that the lord had to be someone worthy, respected, and caring by this point. Rickey's eyes turned towards Tejasv and thought he may be someone worthwhile to swear allegiance to. From afar, Tejasv smirked at his subordinate Daemon, who fought bravely for him and even bled a lot. He deserved respect and applause from Tejasv. Certainly, he got what he deserved from Tejasv since Tejasv was a lord and a dear friend of his.Tejasv went closer to Daemon and said, "Way to go, my friend. You did what I expected and your gallantry was worthwhile to watc
Daemon yelled aloud, "Why did you do that? He fought for you and died. You could've said a few words of appreciation to him, not kill him as granting punishment." He gnashed his teeth in anger and rage.Daemon would have killed Fred in the most gruesome way. He never would have thought of it even in his wildest dreams. However, Fred’s life was for Tejasv to take or forgive. He didn't want to forsake such a man like Fred and let him live, but he stood there clenching his fists and bleeding them in a rage.Tejasv understood Daemon’s inner turmoil and shook his head. He regarded Daemon highly for not killing Fred in a frenzy of enmity. Although Tejasv tried to hold his own bitterness back, the actions of Fred seemed outrageous to him also.Tejasv placed his hand on Daemon’s shoulder to appease his anger and alleviate his inner turmoil of losing someone that way. Those who shed blood together, even if they had opposite sides, formed bonds with each other. Bonds are greater than blood relat
Tejasv saw two silhouettes standing a few meters away beside some thick trees. He remembers their familiar figures and those faces scorned with animosity towards him. Those two didn't belong to the same group, nor did they belong to any friendly team.Tejasv squinted his eyes and confirmed them to be Nina of team Fred and the other was someone he never thought to be still alive in this dungeon. It was one of the thug team, whose name Tejasv never knew.Meeting these two startled Tejasv even more since thugs should be dead by now, but one of them stood before him tall and high with a wild smirk. While Tejasv now understood what he missed all this time, it was Nina of team Fred. All this time, while Fred arranged for the duel and other conversations with him, Tejasv thought he left something out of his sight and couldn't remember it. Now he remembered that it was the last member of Fred's team, Nina, who he saw entering the dungeon.Tejasv thought inwardly, "so she was the one I left to
Nina, in her rage, sneered and glared at Tejasv and Daemon. Her priority target was firstly Daemon. From the look in her eyes, she would certainly carve her knives on her waist into Daemon’s throat, the same way she thinks Daemon slit Rickey’s throat. Her blood-thirsty eyes were obviously asking for the blood of her enemies. Tejasv inferred her intentions and felt the killing intent leak through her eyes. She grunted and grumbled while grinding her teeth.Nina gnashed her teeth as she unsheathed her long knife from her waist. Just as she stepped forward in a rage, Fred yelled aloud, halting her steps. He said, "Wait, Nina! We have to take our time killing these two drained men. We may play slowly; they’re not very ferocious now that Rickey injured one of them. Tejasv, I don't know how he fights since he held himself back in Northern Square. We have to be patient."Nina exclaimed and stammered, "Wh-what? Do you want us to wait to kill these bastards? I have to kill them now to appease t
After Nina’s statement, Fred chuckled and revealed his master plan to Tejasv, "You may be bewildered by my alliance with Ben and certainly how these two reached here. First part first. I never expected you both to strike me here. You perfectly planned our encounters in this place. Did you read my tracks or was it a skill? Well, it doesn't matter now and I’ll have Nina ask you everything while she tortures you."Fred had an ominous grin on his face, gradually speaking in his haughty, proud tone. He would not hesitate to ask Tejasv and Daemon about other team members. He would try all sorts of precarious and sinister ways to fulfill his desirable outcome. He resumed after a pause, "Now about how I met Ben? How did I ambush Sally and trick them? Everything here happened due to my skills..haha. I know, I know! Tejasv must have already brooded over such things. He's a master of plans on his own. I applaud him for that. However, how to use skills already has a great impact on things.First o
Fred frowned his brow and resumed his conversation with Nina, "I know you’re hurt from their death, but we should stay calm right now in front of the enemies. These people are more cunning than we can expect. Let's deal with them and find out the rest of their team."Fred chastised Tejasv and Daemon for diverting Nina's rage away from themselves and toward their adversaries. His priority was survival, whether it be through killing his enemies or shielding himself with his astute words.Tejasv saw through his speech with his keen senses. He knew what would happen if Nina turned her anger on Tejasv and Daemon. Although she had enough rage already built up in her head, it would be different if that rage was directed toward a single person.According to human nature, an enraged person would display outrageous strength to kill the reason for that rage. Tejasv realized that fact and knew the outcome would be dangerous if Nina snapped in her head.Nina scowled at Fred and grunted. She replied
