Harold, panting and gasping from the confounded threat, sweated buckets due to the wolf's intimidating aura. His body shivered and quivered while he held the rod. It was a life-threatening and critical trade.

Nobody could understand his plight, what he felt and how he was facing the outrageous circumstances imposed by Fred, no one felt his inner turmoil.

The wolf once again leaped into the air to strike Harold and carve him with its claws. It's irritating for the wolf that its last attempt got derailed by Harold's defense. That must have been a slap on the wolf's pride. The howls of the onlooker wolf pack mocked the fighting wolf.

Harold once again threw the wolf back and barely escaped from its claws. The wolf ground and gnawed its teeth.

Gradually its rage rose through its head. Its eyes became blood red with animosity and frenzy.
