Nina smirked as she looked at Daemon, who was groaning in pain on the floor. She smirked and laughed hysterically, mocking Daemon and the other two of his comrades in arms. Daemon and Fred jumped back from Nina's sharp knives. They had to be cautious while aiming for Nina since even a single of her strikes would leave them with a deep wound. One should be aggressive, however, before losing control of one's mind while attacking.Nina stood before them, smirked, and began her barrage of attacks on Ben. Nina snorted and plunged over Daemon and Ben. Her fury was evident from those wild expressions and her scowled brow. She roared and swung her knives with a brutal thrust at both of them without a word. Fred, who had just admitted his defeat, was left aside for a single leisure strike to be dead.Her rage for the other two grew as they interfered with her hunt for the prey. Daemon and Ben swallowed as they noticed her expressions. While Daemon and Ben rolled their eyes in fear of fending off Nina, they turned around. However, she was nowhere to be seen, nor was there a trace of her encroaching from the shadows. They frowned and dreaded the seconds that passed through.Suddenly, with not even a slight twitch, they hear a loud chortle from somewhere. Startled by the chuckle in the dark and eerie atmosphere, Daemon and Ben turned around with a scowl and terror. She held Fred forcefully bent on his knees, with her knife on his neck. After the morbid death of Fred, Daemon resolved to end the evil known as Nina, since her death was good for the territory that he may have to take care of in place of Tejasv. He glanced aside at Ben to ascertain whether he was still able to face Nina after the display of her terrific act.Fortunately for him, Ben still dared to confront Nina, and his glare at her demonstrates his dislike for the girl. Ben gritted his teeth and frowned at Nina for the failure of his plan once again. In that dark and eerie atmosphere, only two voices could be heard. One was a womanly chortle in a frenzy, while the other was a groan in pain and stress. Daemon and Nina were the ones who created such an echo in the atmosphere.Daemon struggled his way to halt Nina's knife from piercing his chest and gritted his teeth while groaning. Fred's blood dripped from Nina's body onto Daemon and some even seeped into his mouth.Nina cackled as she witnessed the sorrowful and pitiful state of Daemon. She giggled even more and said while grinding her teeth as she applied more force to her knife, "What happened? Huh! You’re supposed to be strong, right? Then why are you lying down, and what is the purpose of your endeavor? Just accept your death and go to the other world where your friend is waiting for you!"Subsequently, Nina put even more force into the knife and roared in ecstasy as the Daemon below her cried in the struggle. He put all his power and energy into pushing her back from his top.

Startled and shocked by the axe crossing her path, Nina's eyes widened in panic and disturbance in her inner turmoil as she leaped back. Even Daemon was astonished by the sudden appearance of the axe before them. Likewise, Ben felt enormous emotions, and one of them was horror.At first, they all focused on the ax, which landed far from them. They turned around together and faced the direction where the axe was supposed to come from. Their eyes widened and their jaws dropped as they looked at the figure in front of them.In the dark surroundings, a contrasting figure stood apart from everything. Someone with hair dark enough to blend in at night with a compelling physique. All others swallowed their fears, except Daemon, as they noticed someone unbelievably alive.It was none other than Tejasv.
