Dash- +10 increase to host agility stat.Mana cost- 5 MPDuration- thirty seconds.' Well, that was unexpected. ' Thought Jerouch as he picked himself up.He began to look around wondering where he was.Because of the chase, he had gone a bit deep in the forest.' Ahh, I forgot. ' he dusted his hands as his focus went back on the system interface.[Status Page][Stats] [Skills] [Quests] [Shop]Choosing the stat panel, the figures were like this.Host- JerouchHealth: 60 Mana: 25Race- ???Level-2(5/200)Class-???Rank- FStrength - 2Agility- 2Mind- 15Perception-1( Stat point- 2 )Seeing the stat point, Jerouch didn't think much before he decided on what stat he needed to increase. His mind was already leading with great numbers and his strength and agility had already increased, hence he chose to spend one stat point on perception and one on agility.' Better awareness and the ability to escape quickly. ' he smirked. Now his perception was 2 and his agility, 3.' Time to find a dungeon and harvest some EXP. ' he giggled as he trudged forward blindly looking for a low rank dungeon. The lowest dungeon in this world where F rank monsters. They had mainly F rank monsters in them except for the dungeon boss which sometimes might be E rank.As for how to know an F rank dungeon, there would be one blue shining star above the entrance.Jerouch continued to progress forward making sure not to go too deep to avoid the inevitable. However, he soon stopped and a deep frowned showed on his smooth pale face.' What's that collision? ' he thought as he turned left heading to the source of the disturbance. He knew that what he was doing was evidently stupid but his curiosity couldn't push him less. One couldn't blame him, since his arrival in this world, he had always been monitored and his freedom was restricted. Now that he had the chance to experience many wonderous things in this world, he wouldn't let go of the opportunity.Jerouch stopped a couple of meters in the distance hiding behind a giant tree with yellow scaly trunk and thick red leaves that blocked the sunrays. He held his mouth in awe as he saw the scene happening far in the distance. He was seeing an earth shattering battle between two figures gave him goosebumps. One was large and the other was small. Jerouch wasn't sure of what the large monster was but from his past memories, it resembled dragons from the folklore.Although not completely matching their descriptions. As for the small figure, it was a lady with a bright porcelain skin. She had a long flowing white hair and even from the distance, he could see her large amethyst eyes that were lazily focused on the monster before her.She was clad in a fitted white shirt that tightened around her chest and waist portraying her just perfect curves. Her sleeves were loose and she wore a large black skirt that dropped to her kneels which blew gracefully alongside the wind. The black wyvern that had blue lightening zapping around him charged straight at the girl with speed that Jerouch's eyes could not follow. Both parties were hovering midair, and before the wyvern could clash with her petite figure, she kicked the air and shot upward.Diving downward with a long silver chain in her hands, she twisted making the chain spiral. The end of the chain appeared to manifest the head of a purple head snake and it sunk its teeth into the left wing of the wyvern.'' Arrghh! How dare you, arrogant ant. '' The wyvern cursed as the snake tore a part of his wing. The sky outrightly darkened and even Jerouch who was still hiding under the giant tree could feel something ominous brewing up there. He knew he was supposed to leave at this point as just the after effect of their battle could squash him to paste.Yet, he was too excited and engrossed to think about escaping the scene.Boom!Jerouch found himself flying backward and his back hit a tree stopping his momentum.'' Urggh! '' Blood leaked from his mouth and his head turned fuzzy.' The fuck! ' his eyes widened in horror and interest as he remembered that last attack.A thick blue lightning dragon had appeared from the sky and dived downward. He could also see the chain in the lady's hand transforming to a celestial figure whose descriptions, he couldn't lay his hands on.What happened next was a clash and the collision force was what sent him flying several meters backward like a balloon. As for who won...He had no idea and he wasn't planning on finding that out.He was lucky enough to escape that mess with a few internal injuries.' That girl... ' Jerouch's forehead crisped as he fell into his own fantasy.' I'm not completely sure about the ageing process in this world but she definitely doesn't look like someone who has clocked twenty. 'The want for power rushed his mind and flame of ambition ignited in his eyes.' That overwhelming power, if I had that... 'Would those bastard of a family and even the slave merchants dare treat me like a peck of dust was what Jerouch had in his mind. The power to float in air and go toe to toe with a monster that was a dozens of meters large who could summon a lightning dragon from the sky.Jerouch soon came to another sense of realization. That girl was probably not in her twenties and she could wield such outrageous power. What about other old and powerful warlocks? They could upturn the sea? Or break the sky...' Calling myself an ant is perhaps an overestimation in this world. '' he bit his lower lips as he clenched his fist.[Generating a new quest...]He heard a new notification which made his frown deepen.[New quest received.]Build the strongest force. [Reward] @$#@#$' Is this system a stalker? ' Jerouch rolled his eyes while reading the notification. ' And just tell me what the rewards are,' he muttered, a bit annoyed. He had already left that place that was brimming with battle, and he was currently some couple of meters away from a dungeon entrance. Dungeons were said to be pocket worlds that served as bridges between this plane and the nether plane. It was believed that there used to be no dungeon before, and their origins were still unknown to many. What happened eons ago had been lost to history and no one fully understood the event that transpired. Dungeons had monsters of different levels depending on the rank of dungeons, and they were to some extent different from the monsters of this world. Each dungeon had different floors and the more the floors, the more powerful the dungeon is. Jerouch could see a red monolith and on top of it was one star shimmering with blu
In a distant location that was unknown to many, two people were discussing in a serious tone. They both were clad in white robes with hoods that obscured their facial features, and the aura they exuded was overbearing. '' Are you sure of what you just said? '' One of the figures resting on the wall of the dark cave they were currently in questioned. '' Being sure of myself is an understatement. '' the other figure who was opposite to the figure that questioned him replied. '' Although it was brief, I definitely felt that Mana. '' he added, his voice a bit shaky. '' Is it happening again then… '' The first figure murmured, but the other one could still hear him. '' Just the thought alone is giving me nightmares, I think it's time we let others know of my findings. '' '' No, not now, we can't throw the balance into shambles because of what we are not even sure of yet. '''' But… '''' No but. '' The first figure reprimanded. '' For now, you should widen the search. '''' And rem
A thick, dark book with no extraordinary features appeared in thin air. A white page opened, and Jerouch picked up the jet-black pen he found on the Grimoire. Enoch. Jerouch stepped inside the new floor and just from the interiors, he could tell that this place was far different from the previous floors. The wall here was smoother, and the flame torches were bigger too. The ground was covered in cobwebs and so was the roof. There were also rusty weapons scattered all around the place, and Jerouch could smell something familiar in the air. He focused his eyes on the distance, and he couldn't help but frown. He saw fresh corpses at the centre of the room and, counting them, they were four that lay on the floor. Krack!Jerouch subconsciously turned his head backwards, and he found the door to have locked by itself. He could feel that something ominous was brewing, which made him clench his fists and blood rushed to his face. '' Ggrrhh! ''At the end of the room, what seemed like an elevated platform suddenly shook. '' Fuck. '' Jerouch swallowed hard as he saw the three-meter-tall spider. Just looking from the distance, one could tell that i
Jerouch shielded his eyes as a white light enveloped his figure, leaving him no room for retreat. The eyes of the supposed-to-be dead spider were wide open, which made him gulp. The eyes were no longer glowing red, instead, they were radiating powerful white radiance. The rest of the spider's body was also radiating this white light of unknown origin. The figure of the spider slowly began to rise in the air, and it looked down at Jerouch as though he were nothing of importance. Jerouch could feel the change in the demeanour. The aura that the spider exuded was nothing like before. It felt majestic, terrifying and as well calming. All those mixed feelings wanted to make Jerouch go crazy, and he grabbed his head tightly. A massive pressure soon mounted on him, and he felt as if his heart would rip apart. His bone started cracking and blood oozed out from his orifices. '' W-what is t-this…'' His mouth clattered as he struggled to stand properly. Jerouch kept falling to the grou
'' Fire arrows '' Multiple arrows made of flames pierced her already crushed throat and fried everything to point black. Silence!Everywhere became eerily quiet. Jerouch's emotionless eyes glanced at the corpse, yet, he felt zero guilt, killing someone wasn't his first time after all, at least not on Earth. '' Amy! '' '' Bastard, what have you done! '' One of the boys with green hair roared in madness as his brain finally processed what just happened. It was too fast, and none of them expected such ruthlessness. Jerouch closed in the distance towards the boy, and he prepared to punch him. This time though, they were ready. '' Tremor! '' Enoch bellowed with a murderous gaze. The ground vibrated vehemently, which bought him time to intercept Jerouch. Swinging his hammer in an upward diagonal arc, he aimed at Jerouch. Jerouch saw the hammer heading his way, and he bent his legs down slightly. Kicking the ground, he used the recoil force to fly backwards like a feather. The wi
Karah stood in front of the monolith shimmering with one blue star above it. She breathed in slowly and allowed the wind to flap her large skirts together with her long hair, which danced vibrantly in the air. '' Tsk, Why am I even here? '' She clicked her tongue. '' The dungeon barrier is trying to shield the mana fluctuation. However, I can still perceive it… '' Her eyes beamed as she thought of watching the puny humans battle each. '' Damn you, karah, I'm not supposed to be here. '' She shook her head but eventually, she shrugged her shoulders and pressed forward, giving in to her curiosity. '' I'll just take a glance and leave. ''***'' Earth shower! ''A tired but loud scream ravelled Jerouch's ears. From the distance, he could see Enoch slump to the ground, but that wasn't his major concern. On the roofs were dozens of big boulders about to crash downward. '' Fuck this man. '' Jerouch gritted his teeth in exasperation. '' Hey oldie, what in the hell do you think you're
The warm morning sunlight made its way to Jerouch's eyes as he opened them with struggle. He eventually woke up from his long unconscious state, but he still squinted his eyes waiting for them to adjust to the new, bright environment. The chirping of birds and insects along with short, rapid movements of rodents flooded his ears and he breathed in the sizzling scents of flora. '' Come to think of it, flora…? '' He jumped from where he lay in an awkward position and looked around in confusion. The memories of his last battle rushed into his mind and he got even more perplexed. He knew he should be in the rumbles at best, but here he was enjoying the calming atmosphere of beautiful flowers and shrubs. '' Tsk, you're awake at last, I thought I might just finish you off. ''Jerouch abruptly turned when he heard an unfamiliar voice calling from behind. Immediately after he saw who the voice belonged to, his heart tied a knot and his whole body tensed up. His hair stood erect, and
