9 Ability Copy

A thick, dark book with no extraordinary features appeared in thin air.

A white page opened, and Jerouch picked up the jet-black pen he found on the Grimoire.

Enoch.

Ding!

[Target analysis in progress…]

It wasn't even up to a few seconds when he saw the results.

Rank- F

Class- Tank

[Copy ability]

Yes/No

' Who in their right mind says no? ' Jerouch laughed as he said yes in his mind.

The next thing, he felt as though he was connected to something.

Opening the status page, he went straight to the grimoire tab, and there he saw it.

[Grimoire. ]

[Copied abilities.]

Tremor.

Earth spike.

Earth wall.

Focusing on each skill, he soon got their description.

Tremor- an earth related ability that made the ground two meters around the host vibrate, making his foes lose their balance while being unaffected.

Rank- F

Earth spike- the power to summon a couple of spikes made from earth to attack enemies.

Rank- F

Earth wall- host can create a wall of earth to defend against the enemy's attack. Can defend against most F rank attacks.

Rank- F.

' Tremor! '

Jerouch called out and instantly, the dungeon floor two meters around him started vibrating.

It eventually stopped after ten seconds.

' The mana cost is two, umm, I must say not bad hehe. ''

' Now the others… '

Grabbing the pen again, he wrote another name.

Roy.

Target- Roy

Rank- F

Class- Warrior

[Passive skills.]

Sword slash- Lvl 4

Sword cut- Lvl 3

[Abilities]

Water bullets.

Water swords.

' Copy abilities. ' This time around, Jerouch didn't wait for the system to ask before he copied it.

The descriptions were quite straightforward.

The water bullets allowed one to shoot a bullet

made of water about the size of one's finger.

And the water sword replicated a sword, but with water as its base.

One can launch this sword or use it at a close distance.

Jerouch continued to copy the other's abilities and when he was done, his abilities looked like this.

Tremor, earth spikes, earth walls, water bullets, water swords, toxins, healing, flame arrows, wind arrows, freeze, ice spikes, wind slash, breeze.

Apparently, all of them were F ranks, and they had no superb abilities. However, these were more than enough for now.

Jerouch knew that with the system, he had countless potentials as he would soon lay his hand on powerful warlocks whom he could copy their abilities.

By the time he got to the entrance of the second floor, he had killed a couple of spiders and his experience had exceeded half of what he needed to advance to level three.

The entrance to the second floor was partitioned with a brown metal door with no locks.

It was about two meters tall and about a meter wide. The flame torches toward this point burned fiercely, making the exit of the first floor brighter.

Jerouch placed his hand on the door, which slid open after screeching for several seconds.

Karah watched the large corpse before her a couple of times before turning to leave after removing its core.

The place where the battle took place had turned to ruins.

The ground was charred and even the trees in a hundred-meter radius had all been uprooted.

The air still felt stuffy due to dust and smoke, and the mana in this place was albeit unstable.

As for the wyvern, it had a large hole in its chest which was so deep that it connected to the rear space.

Its head lay some distance away, as it had been decapitated during the battle.

Karah, on the other hand, had no injury.

As a matter of fact, she had no stains on her outfit and her hair remained styled as though she had never participated in a battle.

' Overestimation of one's ability, pfft. ' she snorted, twirling the silver chain in the air before it disappeared.

' And that presence I sensed back then… ' her eyes perked as she looked in the distance.

Although she was engaging in a battle, she still had room to sense her environment.

And even though it was brief, she definitely sensed the presence of a human.

'I can't mistake their scents after all. ' she squeezed her nose as she tried to sniff the air to see if she could detect anything.

' Anyway, their mana was weak, barely that of an F rank warlock. ' she murmured as she flew in a particular direction.

Jerouch, on the other hand, didn't know that his little curiosity had made someone begin to trail him.

Rather, he was here in the middle of battle.

Corpses of giant spiders surrounded him.

Those that were still alive also amount up to a dozen, and they were all making screeches as they took battle stances.

This was their home, and they were not ready to allow any intruder to lurk around.

Jerouch jumped forward and activated dash.

He felt light as usual and his speed spiked up.

He appeared before one of the spiders instantly and punched.

Not waiting to see what happened to the spider, he turned backwards and activated one of his new abilities.

'' Wind slash. ''

He bellowed and raised his hands forward.

Two thin blades each about half a meter in size made of compressed wind formed at the tip of his hands, and they shot straight towards another spider.

''Earth wall, '' he muttered and a wall of mud appeared beside him.

Multiple spider webs hit the wall until it eventually shattered.

However, Jerouch had used that as an opportunity to kill even more spiders.

As he killed them, he got new notifications, which only spiked his adrenaline.

If it were before, he would have suffered many injuries if he was surrounded by the spiders, but by the time he was almost done clearing the second floor, he had improved, and his battle coordination was even better.

More minutes passed, and Jerouch was finally done.

He checked the corpses that scattered everywhere, and a gratified grin appeared on his face.

Each corpse was in a different condition. Some were charred, some had their appendages frozen, while some were just crushed beyond recognition.

Stepping on top of these corpses, he finally got to the entrance of the third floor and if his intuition was correct, this was probably the floor of the dungeon boss.

'' Here we go then,' he said with anticipation as he pushed the large oval door open.
