While waiting for Kiet and Sam to go into the hospital to get nursing equipment, Evan was with Hau and Tuyen waiting outside the gate. The road turned terrifyingly desolate. Evan walked across the street to look at the overturned car, a dead female body inside, holding a baby less than a year old. Evan sighed.

Sam was standing in the hallway observing, he turned inside to see Kiet taking what Doctor Thien ordered. He asked a bit impatiently:
