Nowhere to hide

Things weren't simple as it seemed.

we had walked for two hours fighting the dead  with improvised weapons along the way. we wanted to make it to the next stop where Mr. Kibali found a hideout before. But the roads ahead were blocked.

It seemed the dead were walking away from the city centre towards the outskirts. most of the main roads were packed.

We had to maneuver through the different paths to move. The kids were tired but were composed. Dan surprised me. I didn't know he could be calm despite everything that was happening.

The last experience I had with him was hectic.

It was getting dark  and we still could not find a place.
