049: Introductions

By the time the boat arrived, Corey had three of the fruit. He was standing in the middle of Misha and Borba. Misha couldn't phantom why she agreed to leave her home turf with a man she just met, and Borba had bid her brother goodbye.

The same brother who threatened to cut a hole in Corey's throat if he ever hurt his sister. The orc then realized he was worrying for the wrong reason, and instead gave Corey advice on how to hide if he ever angered Borba.

Corey liked the king. He was sharper than he looked. And he adored Borba's strength. She would only be with them for twelve months before she had to return. Unless, as the king had told, Corey married her. With no official marriage, and nothing but a mating mark, then he couldn't release his greatest warrior.

Pamela, Eleanora, Verosika, and Yumiko, were ecstatic when they saw the shadow silhouette of Corey. Pamela flashed a light as the boat drew nearer, to be sure they weren't heading towards the wrong person.
