060: Dying can be painful

The blade slammed down on Corey's fingers, severing them with a clean smoothness that would frighten any one. Corey had experienced pain, he was no stranger to that feeling but this was intense. He'd never felt pain this bad, it forced him to cry out as it shary stung his body. His fingers vibrated, all Corey could focus on was the pain.

He'd forgotten he was not alone. That is, until the pain doubled on his side. And everything tuned black.

When Corey opened his eyes, he was standing in front of the door again. He blinked, he could still remember how the pain had felt, but his body was empty. All he had was the memory of what had been the worst feeling he'd ever felt.

With a deep inhalation, Corey resigned to thinking of a plan.

He knew what was going to happen next, so he had to think. He had to make a plan.

'Going with the flow was a bad idea.'
