The amount of time Corey spent making horrible comical poses by the lake was ridiculous. It was like he blocked out the part where something to as shifting into a supernova and about to wreck his newly found paradise. He was making bad puns. Anyone who saw him would have thought he was on some kind of drug, but truthfully, Corey was trying to get control of his nerves.

The fear of pain was messing with his brain, he was at one hundred percent. And he knew that.

He waved the Triton again, this time he threw it towards the hand. The weapon jammed into the center of the palm. Right besides the box. Corey felt another shake, he ran back up the stares. The lake water began to bubble. It boiled for minutes splashing around the bottom of the stairs. It was almost acidic in the smell. It slowly melted what it touched.
