"Who the fuck set you free? They do know you were a fucking terrorizer right?!"

NewAge: SHE WAS VERY MUCH, A PSYCHO AMONGST PSYCHOS. WE STRUCK OIL.

'I need to hex her soon enough. This could come back to bite me in the ass. And I do not want that.'

Gogo smirked at loco. "Hey old friend. I kind of need that fruit that you have. Hand it over, or I'll eat your bones. I've done it before. Remember, Gretchen."

Loco flinched. "I want Feldman. I'll give you the fruit in exchange for him."

"No thank you. He's my new interest. Give me the fruit, or I will eat your bones."

"That's not how it works, Gogo. It's either you win it, or you trade me something for it."

"Fight me for it."

Both of them turned their heads to face Corey. He stepped forward, dropping Gogo's bags in her hands. Corey unsheathed Luke and the sword released a battle cry. The armor appeared in no time.

"If you win, I'll come willingly. If you lose, I will kill you and take the fruit."

Seeing this as an easy win, Loco accepted

"I can't believe our vacation is over." Pamela grumbled her feelings out. "I can't believe Corey knocked out a large clown and didn't tell us about it." Misha socked him in the ribs. His breath cut out, and gasped. "I can't believe I felt that." He wheezed out, and Misha cheered. She threw her fist forward, making punching motions. They were on board the ship, preparing for their next quest. With an additional member. Gogo. Borba's favorite person. The two talked more, and got along. Gogo was interested in learning more about the woman she idolized, all the while trying to introduce her personality to Borba. While the women tried to regain their usual schedules, and not mourn over the end of their vacation, Corey sat down in his room to think of some bags and clothes for their next mission. This time, the fruit wasn't going to be easy to collect. He asked NewAge to refresh his memory on the fruit. NewAge: THE NEXT FRUIT YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO GET IS A GOLDEN APPLE. IT ONLY GROWS I

The girls and Corey strapped on their backpacks. They waited for Eleanora bring Greta out to the main deck, which was big enough to hold the dragon. It took them a day to get to the hualaelae jungle. The name kept sounding more ridiculous each time it was pronounced. Corey really wanted to know who came up with these names, and how people could say it with a straight face. Like Misha, she could say it without snickering or sounding like she was about to explode if she didn't laugh soon. Gogo was the exact opposite. She still couldn't get it right, without laughing the lights out of herself. She fallen down once, clutching her stomach and almost swelling from how hard she laughed. Eleanora stood in front of Greta, who was nuzzling Corey's palm. She hadn't seen him in a while, and Corey could see that he was missed by the dragon so he gave her his attention. "I need to get a ladder. I don't trust any of you to actually know anything about great Danes. Especially how to mount one.""

"Corey, what the fuck is that?!" Pamela asked, drawing herself closer to him and Greta."Um, those are-" he was about to say python when the snakes hissed. Arm shots out of their sides, and their height increased. Corey watched them go from lareg pythons to towering nagas. Half snake creatures with a working subconscious. They can speak, and grab onto people with their arms. Corey watched as their torsos formed, their chest revealing them all to be male from the waist up. "Nagas?" Mikayla's voice was frightful. Noticing this, Borba gave them a thorough look. "They're just snake people. What's there to be afraid of?"Mikayla grabbed the orc by her head and pulled her down to her face level. She stared into Borba's shocked brown eyes with fear. "They are highly poisonous. Maybe not to orcs, but a friend of mine got bitten by one and she ended up losing her magic and needing to be amputated.""How- what- how does that make sense? She lost her magic so they cut off her limbs? I wouldn't

Not prepared to fight her was an understatement. Corey wasn't even close. He had a powerful sword but her skills were clearly better than his. Although he stuck to NewAge's advice to not move out of the straight line, Corey's curiosity skittered as he continued to stare at the sparkling object. He wondered, what could it be? If he were to throw caution to the wind, he would go and search for it. Instead Corey tried to think of things that could distract him from that object. The rain was instant on making Corey suffer, so he couldn't focus on that. With its gloomy dark clouds, and the prickle do cold water almost heavy with the rage of the storm. He sought to think about his quest. When would they be able to finish it. To get all seventy fruits, meet Iriel, and move on to something new. Something that could be less risky for his life. Though had to thank Lectus in a way. If it wasn't for his death of a quest, Corey wouldn't have explored the places he'd been too. He'd uncovered so

Their clash made the storm heavier. Corey's arms were starting to get tired as he fought the knight. She swung, each movement more fluid than the last. Her body twisting and turning with the blade. Luke created a helmet to protect Corey's head and neck from the the knights swift hits. Her anger was increasing, Corey could feel it. But he was sticking to the lie that he didn't have what she wanted in his possession. And he would continue to stick to that even if it killed him. Mikayla didn't understand her husband's reasoning. He could hand over the pendant, but….The knight would still kill him. Hmm, she was starting to see there was only one way out for Corey. He had to defeat the knight. The storm had gotten to bad for her to see, and her skin was getting cold and wrinkly. "Okay, I'm going back into the tent. Borba, you can watch. Anyone who doesn't want to die from the cold, follow me."Borba's scowl didn't go down, she got to her feet. Having had enough of watching. Using her

"Does anyone know a therapist??""This is not the time for that. Mikayla, go into his mind now."Mikayla struggled to breathe. They were asking the impossible of her. It was easy to do magic like that and get lost. Not find your way back. She could be trapped in Corey's mind forever. She didn't even understand why Corey was this way. He had suddenly shut off while laying on Borba. He blinked once, and then darkness covered his eyes. Pamela noticed it first. They freaked out, and have been trying to shake him awake since.Mikayla rubbed her hands together, the women were urging her to go into Corey's mind and get his attention. She placed both of her hands to the side of his head and begun to murmur a spell. "Keep an eye on my body. Even I twitch even once, slap me and I'll wake up." She warned as quickly as she could before she passed out.Corey was awake through all of this. He guessed that he would soon be seeing or hearing Mikayla. Corey's worrisome behavior continued as he gave Mikayla directions to the Iriel's home. In the realm of the Celestia. Of course none of the women were ecstatic to see that. They'd heard nothing but great things about the woman who crawled from the Merry depths of the ocean and slaughtered many. As their journey continued, with Corey's distant behavior freaking only two people out, the woman whose realm they were about to cross into stepped out of her darkened room. The unconscious knight laid at her massive feet. The armor was awake but the knight on the inside was knocked out. And her face was still visible. Feeling a bit annoyed at the disappointing warrior, she snapped her fingers. Waking the woman up. "My queen?""Ah, the failure awakens. Sounds to say since I'm the one who woke you up."The knight quickly pressed her to the ground, folding her entire body together. "I am sorry, my queen. That orc took me by surprise.""Borba? Hmm, yes. "Corey, are you sure?" Pamela asked, skeptical as Corey pulled her shirt over her shoulders. "Yes, I'm sure." He replied. She could swear on her soul that something had either snapped inside of Corey, or he had always been like this and she was now just seeing it. She watched him through the mirror placed on the wall. As the boat rocked on the sea. Mikayla had dropped it from the sky moments ago, before Pamela nerved herself up to go and speak to any of the women about Corey's change. She could still trust Eleanora but she was starting to see her place. After all, she had rejected Corey. She wanted to take that back. He was still nice to her. In her moment, sniffling and feeling inferior, she thought about why he would tell them that many would die. Then a little voice, as if taking Corey's side, reminded her of how nice he was to s

191: It can't end like this

Corey woke the next morning to the loud banging of something metallic. He could almost feel the danger before it arrived. He could sense the trap before he woke up, and NewAge provided him with no warning. That was the worst of it all. His stomach clenched, buckled with the tight feeling of despair slipping through the cracks of his chest. Something was here. An enemy that had put his system on hold. How was that possible? Corey shoved himself out of bed. Rushing towards the door of the bedroom, his fingers barely grazed the doorknob before it flew open. Scratching his nose as he ducked out of the way. Corey blinked, staring heavily at the figure that stood before him. Just yesterday, he'd been playing videogames. How did things roll from zero to one hundred? A dark figure pushed out from the door way. "We haven't been acquainted, Mr Feldman. But you're about to find out this is just the first phase of my plan."Corey wasn't given a chance to speak as the grimy voice of the man. T

    Author's note

Dear readers,I would just like to say thank you to thank everyone who has read this story so far. It's my first time writing a male leading story, and I'm not sure I did it right but I hope to get it perfectly some day. But this note isn't to tell you thank you, I also wanted to inform you that starting next month I will be taking a full month's hiatus from this story. It's not going the way I planned, reader wise. And I'd like a break from it to get my head cleared and gather some new ideas. I'll publish some chapters for the rest of the month. But after that, I'll be off on a break to return by June. Thank you for reading this note. And have a good day..

190: Impressed by the best gamer

Taking a break was not something Corey wanted to do but he had no clue if taking another quest would benefit him at the moment. Likely because he was feeling the urge to be lazy. But where was the fun in that. Corey tapped his friend Toby while he slept. He seemed stressed, and on his screen was a failed level to a part of Clash of Thunder that Corey assumed they must have added in after he died. And apparently Toby was having issues with finishing it. Corey pulled out his chair from under the desk, plopped down on it. He pulled the headphones over his ears, and clicked on the replay on the screen. He wasn't adjusted to the set that Toby used for his gaming. But a quick two minute scan, and Corey knew where to keep his hands without having to remove his eyes from the screen ever. He sat feeling the old school joy he would normally get whenever he got home from school and settled behind his desk to play his favorite games. Or just to stream. Sometimes, he didn't even stream, he just

    189: They're on hiatus?

The new additions to the group were still on Corey's mind as he navigated through the lobby of a deserted and destroyed space ship. Dressed in a black suit to keep his oxygen from running out. His objective was to fix the ship, keep the oxygen and find out who the imposters were. There were a total of three that Corey had to search for. So he asked the women to all join in. Toby even agreed, he wanted a way to test out his alien form. No doubt so he could attack Corey, and the teen more than welcomed it. He was easy to intrigue sometimes. And for the rare occasion, rare but consistent, what should have intrigued Corey instead bored him.He took slow strides through the lobbies with Alisha by his side. She really had no complaints to joining his harem and Corey was slowly getting to know her personality. Almost like he was still getting to know Clio. Alisha was a natural hunter, she had skills that Corey didn't posses. Sure, he was a jack of all trades. But watching how she skillfully

The next day, Corey was apologizing to Toby. "How was i supposed to know he won trick you into marrying him? It was supposed to be a harmless joke." Toby glared at Corey. He'd gone from trying to think of a way to get himself a girlfriend to married to an orc dude that threatened to kill him if he ever left him. And he could tell Corey was secretly laughing at his predicament. No matter how many times he tried to act sympathic and sorry. It was clear to Toby that his friend was having a good laugh out of this. "If you're truly sorry, you'd use your powers to get me out of this.""Yeah, but the king would be so sad." Toby tossed his pillow at Corey. The teen didn't bother blocking it. He fell on his back then began cackling. "I'm sorry if I don't want to be married to an-"The door to his room opened, and Borba walked in. Her eyebrow raised. "You're not thinking of ditching my brother. You're his mate. 187: Near death celebration

The missile was fast and Corey found that he could still laugh with his broken sense of humor in such a situation. Misha turned to him, incredilous expression on her face. Then she loosened up and laughed. As if on cue, Corey got a message from Borba. He teleported her to their position. She whipped around to see the missile before she could even greet Corey and tell him her brother was inviting him to enjoy an orc festival. She heard the coy laughter coming from Corey and Misha. Borba flung her mace at the missile. The wind blew against her skin as the weapon struck the tip of the sharp war missile. Making it explode. Her weapon flew back, and she caught it. Laughing curiously at the pretty site. She turned around and Corey looked in awe. From the background, it looked like a scene from an action movie. With the explosion in the sky, pieces of metal flying about. And Borba walking towards him. The wind in her hair, a smirk on her face. Corey wanted to snap a picture but all he did

    186: The types of bots

They'd found a place for Corey to fix Misha's button. And while he worked on it, getting another chance to look at her insides- no sexual innuendos there- he watched the city and spotted many types of bots. Corey was intrigued, and he was never one to really hide his fascination from himself. If he wanted to study something he would admit that much to himself. So as he settled carefully on the blanket, and Misha was stuck in a limbo like state unable to fully shake out of it and wake up until Corey was done, he asked NewAge to explain each of the bots and their purposes. He was already acquainted with the killer bots. NewAge: THERE ARE MANY TYPES OF SENTIENT BOTS THAT ARE CREATED ALMOST EVERYDAY. BUT ONLY TEN STAND OUT TO THE WORLD. WE'LL GO FROM AN UNEVEN LIST. 1: THE MEDIC BOTS; THESE BOTS COME WITH NO RANK OR LEVEL AND THEY ARE USUALLY THE EASIEST TO KILL AS THEY HOLD NO FIGHTING SKILLS. 185: The warehouse

After reading the clue Corey went about his day, keeping it in mind that he would think about what to do with the aforementioned clue once he was done ne thinking about the lock keeper. Because the man kept him intrigued and on his toes. He wanted to know more. But Corey knew he would never find anything about the lock keeper without some help. Which was disappointing. It was still strange referring to an unknown force as the lock keeper, instead of the man he'd once known to be that. Erogo was just Erogo. Self centered and easily blinded by words. Corey went to bed almost too easily. Sometimes his mind and body surprised him. After what he'd seen, the question of how he could still sleep well was insane. Corey turned around in the bed, thinking about what his day would entail. But that changed when Misha broke into his room the moment he was done getting dressed for the day. She looked distressed. "Corey, I got another message. I think I need to go to that warehouse. Convince

    184: Check his mind

Corey sat his father down in Greta's den where the dragon was peacefully taking a nice nap. She had woken up briefly to sniff Corey's hand, and give his full body a lick with her long rough tongue. Corey had dried himself off the saliva and proceeded to walk circles around his father. He was watching the man as he tensed in the chair. Between the mighty dragon and a powerful kid that he knew was about to do something horrible to him. So he hissed, "Do you worst. I'll never talk."Corey laughed at the irony hidden in those words. "But I haven't even said anything, you're the one talking." His father tensed even more, and Corey was having too much fun making a fool out of the man. But how he could he not have fun? Corey knelt by his father's feet, and his eyes started to glow in a way that was nearly blinding. His father blinked severally and tried to process what he was seeing. Then his eyes rolled, in the most painful way possible. He wasn't given the opportunity to scream. Corey w
