102: Rage and Lessons

Mikayla was right. And Iriel hated to admit. But more than that, she hated to admit that Corey had been. Right. He knew to shun her out, in order to get her to listen. She wanted to apologize, but when she showed up at his room he was gone. And so was the princess, and Misha. She didn't know who to ask about Corey's sudden disappearance, since no one was talking to her.

Her only option happened to be the human female working on a device that looked funny. Iriel tapped the side of the door with her knuckles. Pamela shot her head up from where she sat on the floor, looking over some blueprints.

When she saw the cause of the disturbance, she returned her eyes to where they initially were.

"Can we talk?"

Pamela said nothing. So Iriel huffed, she clenched her fist ready to go into a rant about how humans were beneath her. And that Pamela can't be protected by Corey forever. But she shoved that away and forced her body to ease up. Tension formed in her shoulders.
