162: Disturbed

Mikayla found Corey a minute after breakfast was announced. She knew him well enough that she didn't bother waiting for him to show up. Some mornings Corey was a busy person. Forgetting that food was essential to his life. He was scribbling down something when she found him and after a moment of just watching him she took note of the water in a clear glass bottle.

The color of the Lorelei. She gasped, but Corey still kept his eyes on the microscope. Staring at the contents of the water. Or so she thought. Corey had fingure out that the Lorelei reacted differently to so many things. The only constant, and stable thing that reoccurred each time he added something to it, was how it would grip that thing and never let go.
