Juno expected many things when he went in search of Iriel, none of them could match up to this. Iriel struggled against the leash while Corey was busy discussing something Juno couldn't hear with a strange looking woman. Something about her aura was very familiar to him but he chucked it up to being his imagination. His eyes traded between Iriel, and Corey. Corey had his back to the trees where Juno hid, and Iriel was stuck by the railings of the cabin.

What had conspired between them? Juno wanted to know. But that wouldn't be possible unless he got Corey away from the house.

Corey felt Juno the second the man appeared, he was almost expecting the teacher to come for Iriel. Which set a bit of a plan in motion. Sure, he worked well with game theory but no one could ever accuse him of not being smart enough to trick them. He'd done it thousands of times. Basing his whole plan on another person's moves.

Iriel described it as a limitation to what Corey could do, but he had his doubts.
