After the decimation of the demons all over the city, except for the mutants, Kendrick and Johnny just stood there in disbelief. Kendrick and Tsukuyomi were still shaking for some reason,“There is no time to doze off! “Why the hell would you do that so recklessly?!” Erika questioned Kendrick’s decision as it was dumb.“I thought you made a plan!” Johnny followed.“I did make a plan! After witnessing the death of the elder, Kendrick did the rightful thing. He went out of the hut, and in his arms was the elder, he carried the elder at the middle of the village and placed him at the exact center of the village the elder has once led.“You guys, I know it is going to be unpleasant. But I need you to carry everyone and bring them here. We are going to give them a proper burial, so they can rest in peace.” Kendrick says.And without any hesitation, the three of them started carrying the deceased citizens of the village. They puked and got dizzy along the way, but this is the least that they can do to at least honor the deaths and give them a proper resting place. The confusion grew as the three tried different ways to know what is up with this map,“Didn’t the elder tell you something on how to read the map that is totally empty?” Kendrick asked.“N-No. The elder just told us that someone needs to inherit the map once he dies, or no one claims it to be theirs. Nothing more, nothing else.” Johnny replied.As they were scouring the chest itself, Erika was the one who noticed the paper attached to the literal back of the map itself. Kendrick slapped Johnny’s head slightly, as the paper was too obvious, and the fact that he did see it means that he panicked too much. Erika then slapped Kendrick too as he also was oblivious about the paper, until she pointed it out. Johnny then gently removed the paper that was folded. He unfolded the paper and on it was a short letter,“Read it out loud. Maybe it is from the elder.” Kendrick says.Johnny nodded. He looked at the letter, and he just literally stared at it as he constantly narrows his eyes like he w

The three woke up the next morning at exactly 10 in the morning. They have been up until 4 in the morning as they were too entertained by their own stories. Kendrick went out to hunt some game first, while Erika and Johnny were left in the camp and was tidying things up. They would still spend a few days here since Char is literally on the ground and was just lying down and resting, which means that until Char stands up again, they would have to stay in this camp longer. And besides, they are still figuring it out on where they would go after this. The letter did not say any specific location or anything, it just told them that to explore and find that somebody who will meet the requirement of the enchantment. And that is going to be next to impossible, as this world is just messed up, and it would be very difficult to find that person. But they all must try. After hours of travel, Eleanor and the others have finally reached the supposed town. It was another surprise for the person who lives within the walls. This town also has walls, but smaller compared to the ones at the city. The gates opened and they all entered. People with weapons suddenly appeared in front of them as they are now reassuring if there is no threat that will get in. The gates were lowered once everyone was inside, and then all of them went down their horses and went to town,“This town is as big as a city. But since we are living like in the medieval times, we call it a town. The town’s name is Braver, named after the bravest warrior that founded this town who now has a population of approximately at least 400 thousand people.” Anna explained as she then continued to tell Eleanor what she is going to ask like she is reading her mind or something.It turns out that this town has classes in society. Anna introduced Elle to everyone, but she did not have an answer to the questions who ask about Elle’s citizenship, but luckily, there were no doubts, and everyone just welcomed Elle without any doubts nor hesitation. Elle tried a variety of foods which she has never saw or tasted inside the walls. Everything was just incredible, and it was if this town is the least fortified compared to the city, they are confident about everything. And Elle was just glad and so enjoyed that she is here, that she literally forgot all about her mission to scout the southeast and give a report to the city in a month. And when night struck, Anna and Elle went into a bar where they had a drink or two to ease their bodies and feel relaxed even for a few hours.
