CHAPTER 67

After witnessing the death of the elder, Kendrick did the rightful thing. He went out of the hut, and in his arms was the elder, he carried the elder at the middle of the village and placed him at the exact center of the village the elder has once led.

“You guys, I know it is going to be unpleasant. But I need you to carry everyone and bring them here. We are going to give them a proper burial, so they can rest in peace.” Kendrick says.

And without any hesitation, the three of them started carrying the deceased citizens of the village. They puked and got dizzy along the way, but this is the least that they can do to at least honor the deaths and give them a proper resting place. After doing that for a half an hour, Kendrick stood in front of the feet of the deceased and let Amaterasu do the honors. Amaterasu flew away from the scabbard and levitated above the dead people. She then released a bright light, and she said these words,
