CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY FIVE

He took in the hard contents and grimaced his face. He had never had whiskey in his life.

"Still alive?" Omar asked him.

"I think so." Kevin responded.

"Good. We have a lot ahead of us and no thanks to your excessive ex. She's a hellcat." Omar noted.

Well, if for anything, Kevin had to agree with him this time because that was precisely what Vanessa was. She would pretty much put her best into making one's life a living hell and there was no kidding with her. Of all the women he knew, she was the most dangerous of the lot.

He sat down as Omar came to sit beside him, his phone out now.

The other guy dialed a number and started to speak while Kevin listened calmly.

"So, what's the intel?" Omar asked the other person.

He listened now calmly and would make sounds and signals that he was still on the call and probably deeply engrossed in the discussion. He went on for a little while and Kevin got bored looking at him as he looked around the place.
