CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY EIGHT

She hoped really badly that she had not ruined everything yet with her attitude. All she had been hoping to do was to shake him up just a little and perhaps, add a little bit of guilt tripping to the list of things she would be doing to him. Alice left off making her calls and eventually waited for Vanessa to come out. She remained there for really long hours until those twin doors started opening and an unconscious seemingly Vanessa was rolled out. Alice quickly stood up like she had got an ace up her ace as she looked really wildly. She intercepted them and looked from the nurses to the doctors. They could tell she was nearly panicking.

"Is she..." Alice resumed her scared question but could not even finish.

The doctor came up to her and patted her shoulder.

"She'll be fine." He said to her.

Tears fell off her eyes. Finally, she could not afford to be anymore afraid of the unknown.
