"Stop right there. Where do you think you're going?"

Justin's voice made Grant and the others halt in their tracks and turn around, their expressions sour.

"What more do you want? Don't tell me you really want to tear off the veneer of civility? I'll admit, Justin, you've exceeded my expectations, but I, Grant, am not someone you can casually trample underfoot. I'm warning you, don't provoke me further, or you'll regret it."

Grant's face was suffused with menace, as if he would resort to violence at the slightest provocation.
