The red barrier around the dungeon solidified, locking them inside the dungeon, as soon as the system confirmed that those were the challengers of the dungeon.“We're locked in. This is where the fun starts. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first ever raid of our lives.” Maric told them with a nervous smirk on his face.Everyone was nervous, even the one that claimed to be a soldier. The viscous liquid metal associated with Maric condensed out of thin air and formed a spear in his hands. He brandished it several times and exhaled alongside everyone else.[Welcome to the Domain of The Green Dread.]‘Green Dread?’ Eric furrowed his brow as he read the big holographic screen in front of him.The screen's surface transitioned and displayed another set of texts.[This dungeon is a spawner type dungeon. You know what to do. The trail begins.]“Eric! What's a spawner type dungeon?” Amy quickly asked. Not standing on the occasion, Eric answered immediately.“Simply put, it's a dungeon th
Eric's eyes, with active Analysis, scanned the entire dungeon while being surrounded by several Treants out for blood. The armour on his body added durability to his already durable body so the blows the treants dealt weren't even taking anything out of his health points. He soon found what he was looking for, the first Treant spawner. As he was about to signal to Amy that he had found it, he got ganged upon by a group of Treants.‘What the hell?!’He soon got buried under a mass of writhing humanoid trees and they were fusing together to bury him permanently underground.“Eric!” Erica noticed that her twin was being buried alive and shouted, trying to make her way to him.Her aura swirled and the Treants trying to approach her got frozen solid.“Dammit! Fodder!” Nelson called out as he struggled to escape the grip of multiple Treants. The mass of Treants squirmed and tightened to squash their prey into the asphalt. They suddenly convulsed and the smell of burning wood permeated the a
Amy destroyed the first spawner and the vines in the immediate area shrivelled up and died immediately.“Way to go. Now to look for the other spawners in less than seven minutes.” Eric said almost dejectedly. His eyes were already glowing a bright blue as he gazed through the walls and ceiling. His dejected expression soon brightened.“Well I'll be damned, hahaha. I found two more and they are right beside each other.” Eric brightened, his face smiling as he pointed at the wall.Maric nodded and walked forward towards the wall.“What are you doing? He doesn't mean it's behind the wall you know?” Nelson questioned the man with an eyebrow raised.“Oh Eric is aware of what I'm about to do.” Maric said simply.Droplets of silver liquid condensed and coalesced around Maric and they soon formed a large solid drill.“...” Nelson was speechless when he saw the construct. “Bruh!”“It'll work. Trust the process.” Eric smiled nervously before walking forward to Maric. “I'll guide you.”Eric plac
They were marching towards the exit of the dungeon, chatting and chattering happily about various things. The red barrier around the dungeon had softened, only granting exit to the challengers.“I must say, it's an interesting experience to raid a dungeon. Although I didn't get any XP from the Treants, I like this feeling of fighting to save your world.” Maric said with a smile on his face as he walked alongside the others. He hadn't gotten any XP from the raid but he got a lot of coins and crystals from killing the Treants.“I got a lot of XP points damn. I also got a lot of skill points, although I used it all up though.” Chuck said with glee evident on his face. He was on the verge of bursting because of joy.“Chill out, lard fodder. You don't want to get an heart attack because you're happy, now do you?” Nelson said with a casual smirk on his face.“I might as well have brain aneurysm from my happiness because I'm different from before!” Chuck replied him. He was basically skippin
“One year? That sounds far and… quite fair of the system.” Mr. Baker commented.“We'll finish it in a year. That is certain. It's already at three percent completion. We'll finish this main quest within the year and get stronger.” Eric said casually. He had suspected that the deadline of the quest would likely be a year so he wasn't surprised. The only slight surprise was that the quest has made progress up to three percent in just 48 hours.“Let's see this extensive system feature, shall we?” He dismissed the quest tab and resummoned the rewards tab.…[Welcome to the Social System Of World Awakeners.][Choose your realm.][Earth] [Mars] [Venus] [Tak-987] [......][You'd be teleported to the realm if you aren't there already.]…The system listed about eleven different realms the only one familiar to Eric was Earth, Venus and Mars.Everyone was also reading it and they all had a shared expression of surprise.“Mars? Venus? Am I the only one seeing this?” Nelson asked with an incredul
Nelson noticed Eric's sly smile and frowned.“You knew?” He growled and glared at him.“You see, Nelson, when I completed the second hidden quest called ‘Information Monger II’, I got exclusive access to any kind of information at any time.” Eric said with pride. He nudged his invisible glasses, like he always did when he was about to say something prideful, and said.“I'm basically a walking tutorial.”There was a satisfactory grin on his face, his eyes were closed and his arms spread out as if he was about to embrace someone.“...” Nelson narrowed his eyes in thought before summoning a wrench from his inventory and hurling it towards Eric. “You're still dead to me no matter what.”Eric caught the wrench and dismissed it into his own inventory.“I'll create the faction now.” Eric said as he began clicking the screen in front of him.He answered the questions that followed and did as he was told, and soon the faction was ready. Soon all of them in the storehouse received an alert.[Yo
Eric quickly went through the enchantement descriptions that he wasn't able to see before he bought the weapon. The first one was Perfect Pinnacle. This enchantment made the weapon such that it would always a pinnacle weapon no matter the class it was in. It was plain and simple even in the name. The second enchantment was Machine Transformation. It allowed the Divine Smite to take the shape of any weapon according to the imaginations of its wielder. Basically, the form that the weapon take is restricted by the imagination of its user. The third enchantment, Divine Punishment, allows the weapon to shoot out beams and blasts that was likened to divine punishment. This hinted at the possible destructive powers that the weapon was capable of wielding in such blasts. This Divine Punishment could also take the form of any attack whether elemental, conceptual or esoteric to harm any kind of creature be it physically, spiritually or mentally. It all depends on the versatility of the user.Up
Three weeks of dungeon ‘bullying’ went by and the cohort were stronger than ever.Maric, Amy, Nelson and Matt were already at Awakened Grade 5 while the rest were at Awakened Grade 6. They had grown so much and been through so much more.During this time they also cleared the 1.6 and 1.7 dungeons and it was a menacing and deadly raid. Unlike their usual raids where they held back or totally dominated their fights, these two particular raids were deadly and almost became even dire for them.Their survival was credited to the effects of Divine Smite and the intelligence of the creatures they fought. The 1.6 dungeon was perhaps the worst they've encountered so far in their history of dungeon raiding.Unlike the dungeons that gave them goblins, treants, orges and golems, this dungeon gave them specters, liches, ghosts, wraiths, zombies and ghasts. Most of their arsenal was useless and the ones who came through for them for that raid to be successful were Chuck and Eric.Chuck, having a
