Being able to have extremely keen sense wasn’t necessarily a good thing. Gabe had to bear with the bad smells that were also intensified. For instance, he could smell the rat that died two houses away. Even the rotten fruit over a hundred meters away was bothering his nose now. And the street lights at night proved to be a nuisance for his eyes that had become quite sensitive now. Getting used to these would take him a while, so all he could do was bear with it.
