CHAPTER 208

Vyse’s provocation didn’t anger Gabe. Instead, his mind kept thinking back on Vyse’s kick, where Vyse used the knee joint to throw a feint and then deal a great deal of damage with the following ‘real’ kick.

Gabe had experienced many feints during his practice matches in the park, or in the UTS matches, but no one had ever made a feint with a kick before. It felt so innovative and masterful Gabe couldn’t help appreciate it because throwing feints in kicks was much more difficult after all.

Gabe’s ear was still ringing, but he was somewhat able to hear Vyse’s words. Nevertheless, he didn’t let Vyse’s provocation get to his mind. He patiently stood and got his breath under control. This helped him better bear the pain in his ear.

“I’ll first defeat you with my eyes open,” Gabe lunged forth.

{Coming straight at me? Tsk! Tsk!} Vyse seemed disappointed. {Did you forget what I’m capable of?}
