Russell explained to Nora that William and Bertha and their family members were guests, and so they didn’t have to pay for eating at their house. Nora still asked him how long they were going to stay. He told her that they will stay for a little while.

“Nobody is his name?” Nora spoke out loud, startling Bertha. She didn’t think that the little girl would say it out loud.

“His name is Gabriel,” Russell said. “He’s the one who rescued you when you got kidnapped.”
