CHAPTER 389

“Mr. Samuel,” Russell called out his name from outside the front door. His left hand was near his waist, where he was hiding a gun. He was ready to use it in case the madman inside were to shoot at them.

Gabe stood relatively calm. He was holding a six-tier lunch box.

No response came from the inside.

Russell looked at Gabe. “You said Mia fed him secretly, so why are we feeding him directly now?”

“He probably hadn’t eaten in many days,” Gabe said. “So, we need to check up on him. I have seen him take food from others in the past, so if we offer him food, I don’t think he’ll refuse.”

“I guess he’s not completely mad.”

Gabe didn’t say anything, but one of the reasons he came here was also to make sure if Samuel was really not okay in the head, or was he acting? If it was the latter, then Gabe might never be able to forgive him for trying to harass and abuse Nicole.

Just then, the door opened, but there was nobody standing on the other side.

Russell immediately took his gun out.
