“You want me to call you what?” Cynthia threw the cookie in her hand, but Gabe caught it with ease.

“If I did something your dad couldn’t, what’s wrong with calling me daddy?” Gabe asked. “Didn’t you also take my pencils in the past? You depended on me even when you were a kid, so I don’t see why you can’t call me daddy.”
