Gabe came home.

What he didn’t know was that Venkat followed him in his car from a distance. “He still lives in that old, shitty house, and he says he earns at least 20,000 dollars per month? He’s definitely lying.”

“But this company card seems real,” Nora was looking at the visiting card that Gabe had given them. It had his name, company, address and everything in it except his phone number because he didn’t buy a mobile by the time this card was made.

“It’s not that difficult to make cards like these,” Venkat blurted. He had short, curly hair which he hated. He also envied Gabe for his cool, soft, and straight hair, but now, he could see that Gabe’s hair was thinning down, and it made him happy inside because his hair was still dense. However, when Gabe said that he earned at least 240,000 dollars per year, his heart shook. “If I pay ten dollars in a store, they’ll print cards like these.”
