Chapter XIII

Before they could go far, Jean’s phone rang. She took it out of the pocket to see who it was. It was Ruddick the forensic analyst at Kibich Central Teaching and Referral Hospital. Besides working at the hospital, he was the consulting forensic analyst for the Kibich Central Police precinct.

He was calling to let the Detective in on the findings on the last murder victim they had discovered. From the look on the Detective’s face, she did not get what she was hoping for from the analyst.

Unfortunately, Jonas’ mother was right after all. Ruddick had just found some shreds of evidence supporting that, not a beast but another human being in need of blood and a lot of it was killing people. She could not believe her ears but there it was. Someone was determined to kill people for whatever course it was that they believed in.
