Chapter XLIII

After the much-heated conversation, David decided to leave the captain and his officers at the scene. Although he talked the way he did to the captain, he had seen the look on his face when he saw the body drained off blood and during the call. He knew it was just a matter of time and he could give up and seek for his help. With the murders still happening in the city, they had just found an easier way of getting the Mystery man to team up with them.

As David departed, Ruddick the forensic analyst was arriving. That became a relief for the captain. He had just found one equipped enough to give him insights on the homicide. Besides his expertise of being a forensic analyst, he had also worked the previous cases with Jean’s team. He was well armored for the task.

“Ruddick, you are late! I expected you here sooner. Please give him room,” the captain said to Ruddick as he instructed the officers to give him way to the cadaver.
