Chapter XL

Their plan was simple. David had to keep helping at the precinct keeping an eye on their target, the captain, as he gathered anything and everything they could possibly use to win his loyalty. John and Peterson had to find whatever else they could about the same on their own under the radar. David left them and headed to the precinct. He was to gather information about the Mystery man. Peterson was left interrogating John for anything they could squeeze off him and every shred of information about the agents and the Clairvoyant.

The very first question that Peterson asked John was whether he had the dreams he claimed to have had in the past. To his surprise, John could hardly have an ordinary dream let alone visions and, more so, dreams about the Armageddon.
