Back at the Kibich Maximum Security Prison, Agent 2 explained the mission to John and his partner once they met. There was one prisoner said to have enough evidence to expose the whole mission. He posed no threat for as long as he remained in prison but his time was almost over. They could not risk him coming out and presenting the evidence to someone like David and his son. All could be lost. He needed to die.
