Over the mountains far in the North was the district of the Mages. Wizards with long straw hats longer than usual and of great height though they won't be called giant but,yes they were tall. It was this place that's filled with magic and magnificiency. Here you would see the goblins, elves, trolls, unicorns, gnomes, centaurs and all you could mention except for orcs. This district was majorly co-habited my Mages and the rest being minority. The leader of the wizards Aomarion;also known as Leader Supreme. His second Galz the soothsayer and Lystere likewise known as little-dimpy the young elven mage were all working in the great Magical Hall of Eystebith. The hall is large enough to house hundred of scores of medieval armies.Eystebith is made up of three major departments. The Library filled with all kinds of magical books, the laboratory where the alchemist and magicians make all sorts of portions, and the Academy filled with young promising Mages. Eystebith was built with ancient magic. The hall of Eystebith isnt just a hall but also an academy it also has all kinds of activities going on it. Young Mages learning the craft of alchemy and Magic. All types of people and magical creatures carrying out their daily duties and work in the laboratory. Students of Eystebith are of all kinds of humanoids both humans, elves, centaurs, leprechauns and fauns. Galz the soothsayer was head master of the Academy and all students was under his care and supervision.

***

It was usually cold in this part of the earth and being at the peak of the mountains Eystebith was one of the coldest places. Snow falls in the early hours of the day with little and not much sunlight in the evening. Galz was in chambers studying when there was a tap on his door.

"Permit me.Should I come in sire" was the gentle and harmless voice of Lystere.

"Oh yes you can little-dimpy" the affirmative tone of the mage still was usually the same. This has always been the routine. Little-dimpy knocks on the door asking to come in and Galz as always granting him the permission to come on in and Lystere replies 'oh thanks dear sire". And the next day same thing

happens again with Galz usually granting his permission, and the following day and the......It was common bond between the two and all masters, teacher students and workers in Eystebith knows that both mages were tight fellows. Lystere looking up to Galz as his big mentor and a father figure and Galz cherished him in his heart ever since he was brought to Eystebith as an orphan. Galz chambers was well condusive with a window and the room exhibits the exuberance of magic and definitely books. On his table was all sorts of books, a square map,a magical globe, pens and writing materials of different shapes and sizes. And hanging on the wall was the rumored mirror that sees the future (Lystere has been hearing this from some of the other students that Galz possess a mirror that show one what will happen in time to come) but, he was sure if the mirror he was looking at just now would be able to show one's outer appearances let alone the future; it was a dark glass fixed on a spherical piece of metal or steel made of magic.

Galz was examining a piece of writing through a magnifying glass.....

"Little-dimpy do you know what this would have been" the older mage gave the younger one the paper.

"I don't know" A few close glance at the paper the younger mage was rather confused."maybe Amish".

"No its ancient magic" replied Galz," And it says Nori dtame gatz meaning darkness comes".

"Uhhuhhu". little-dimpy shivered not by the cold,"that sounds a little scary"

"Yes it is"

"And how did you get em"Lystere was staring blankly at the Galz.

"Alas from my dream last night i was at the mining grounds of Rogmar"

"The land of the orcs"

" Yes. In a somewhat cave and there I saw Heragon with two witches of which I have no idea who they were. They were practising dark magic trying to conjure a power I haven't seen in ages long before I was part of this academy"The wizard became silent for a moment, looking at him he was definitely in deep thoughts.

"Have master Aomarion known about this "

"No" Galz replied dully with a little groan in his voice.

"Then you should rather tell him, there should be a gathering of the Wizard council" Lystere was optimistic.

"Telling Aomarion and summoning the council of wizards means something more sinister would be unravelled ...dimpy",Galz gazed at the young mage while touching his long gray beards.

"Yes of course" Little-dimpy was not bothered about a dream so much that he already knows that Galz wasnt called the soothsayer for nothing,he was the eye of Eystebith to the otherlands." I mean you are one of the best seers here ,you know better sire, what do you think this dream means"

'For I can tell it might mean one thing 'War'" was the solemn reply from the older mage.

"Then if Heragon wants war we and the otherlands should prepare to stop him"

"I will call for a meeting of the Wizard council" Galz said.

"Yes.so?"

"Yes. Me and you dimpy are going to travel to the otherlands after then to inform them of an impending war" The older mage then looked out from the window into the horizon.
