CHAPTER 32

Lucas Krol stood trembling before Ethan Elliot, his towering frame somehow shrunken under the intense aura emanating from the young man before him.

Beads of sweat trickled down Lucas's temple as his son, Moise, stormed into the room, his voice rising above the tense silence.

“Dad!” Moise’s voice cracked with disbelief. “What are you doing? Bowing to this… this student? I don’t care who he is! No one—no one!—has the right to humiliate you like this!”

Ethan didn’t flinch. His calm, piercing gaze locked onto Moise with a weight that made the younger man falter mid-step.

Lucas spun around and hissed, “Moise! Shut your mouth before you ruin us any further!”

Moise, shocked and indignant, looked between his father and Ethan. “Ruin us? You’re afraid of him? Are you serious? This is just some boy from campus! Who the hell does he think he is, to command you?”

Ethan’s voice, low and sharp, cut through Moise’s tirade like a blade. “You’ve got one chance to fix this.”
