Just as things were getting really tense in the shop, the sound of suresteps echoed through the room.

Carlo, the head designer for the store, walked in with a sense of power and looked around quickly.

"What's going on here?" The other staff members couldn't be heard because of Carlo's deep, authoritative voice, which cut through the tension.

The salesperson stepped forward quickly, and her tone was both too nice and protective.

"Sorry, Mr. Carlo—just a small misunderstanding."

Carlo had already looked at Ethan, though, and his face changed from interest to recognition. He broke out in a big smile and walked forward, ignoring the other person completely.

"Hi, Ethan Elliot!" Carlo yelled and put out his hand.
