CHAPTER SIXTEEN: SUSPICION.

Lucian's brows pulled into a dark frown as he climbed down from his limousine. He tucked a strand of hair behind his ears and brought out his phone to dial a number.

After the third ring, the line connected and Anthony's voice reached him from the other end.

"Mr Anthony, is it a deal now?"

"Yes, Master, everything is set,"

"Good, and the visuals?"

"It's intercepted and ready,"

"Where are you now?"

Anthony scoffed lightly. "I'm trying to get out of this hellhole. I'm still stuck in the media room,"

Lucian smirked. "Use your wits to get out of there safely." He paused briefly, staring into nothing. "It's time to deal with John…"

"Master Lucian, don't you think you should focus more on being the president of Howards instead of…"

Lucian ended the call, not wanting to hear more. Nobody was permitted to distract him in his revenge mission. It felt like a sin to allow people who had hurt him to go scot-free without teaching them a lesson or two.
