Chapter 210Jude couldn't believe his ears at the words stated by the manager by the company. He needed a membership to be able to purchase something from the store? But then, he still didn't deserve the horrible treatment he received from the attendants of the store. All they just had to tell him was he needed to be a member. Jude thought angrily. Clenching his jaw, he began to speak. “How much is the membership form?” He asked as he turned to face the manager and the manager let out a booming laugh that echoed in the store. “Membership form? You can't afford it. It's not for paupers like you”. The manager stated as he sized Jude up. ‘This guy had some guts’, he was almost convinced he was some big shot but he shook his head. He knew everyone in the city, every influential person. He probably was just some working class guy thinking he could walk into their car store to purchase their cars.
