It had been weeks of fighting Marcelos and his army and nothing fruitful had been happening since it was already expected, none had who Esther said was coming to help them had come. Hemdal, Dawson, Karl, Nelson, and the armies had been doing all the best they could against Marcelos’ army to protect the people but they just kept losing more soldiers to Marcelos' undead army and always sustaining slight wounds which they always get treated. The werewolves had no issue being injured since they had healing abilities while the humans and the silver army had to be treated for their wounds to heal for the next battle.

Dawson, Hemdal, Karl, and Nelson were getting now worried when they realized there were little soldiers left with them to protect the people from Marcelos and his army. Marcelos, on the other hand, always reminds Zussorader, Philip, and his armies to make sure not to kill Karl because he would like to add her as her loyal soldier of his.

  • THE SILENCE OF THE SWORD II

It didn’t go as Ramsay had planned. He’d intended to end the fight using the skills he’d learned while the sword’s soul had been in control — the flawless rhythm, the effortless precision, the way his body had once moved like the sword itself. However, without the soul guiding him, Ramsay couldn’t replicate that flow. He fell short — and that wasn’t his only problem.Ramsay's defenses began to crumble. The dark figure’s speed suddenly increased, its strikes sharper, heavier, and far more calculated than before. Ramsay could barely keep up.Then came the hit — a brutal left fist to his face. The blow sent blood spraying from his mouth, a tooth flying, his nose cracking under the force. Pain exploded through his head, and for the first time, Ramsay truly understood: the strength behind that punch wasn’t ordinary. The figure’s power… was the combined might of all five men he had already defeated.Ramsay now knew what he had to do. It wasn’t enough to just avoid and block the figure’s swo

  • THE SILENCE OF THE SWORD

No matter how many times Ramsay called to the soul of his sword, all he got was silence. He could still feel their connection pulsing faintly inside him — alive, unbroken — yet the sword’s soul refused to answer. It baffled him. Why now? Why the sudden silence? For a fleeting moment, Ramsay wondered if the sword’s soul was afraid of this opponent, but Ramsay quickly dismissed that thought. The sword feared nothing.Still, there was no time to think. No time to wonder. The dark figure before him lunged again — swift, relentless. Ramsay barely brought his blade up in time to parry the first strike. If the sword would not help him, then he would have to end this fight by himself. However, fighting the figure alone was far harder than he expected. The power, the speed, the precision — everything about the figure was overwhelming. It was as though the five men Ramsay had just defeated had fused into one being. Every strike carried their combined strength and rage.Ramsay fought to stay ali

  • THE GREAT KING SWORD ii

The four remaining men stood where their fallen brother had vanished, the air around them twisting in fury. Though they had no faces, their rage was palpable — a deep vibration that made the chamber tremble. Their movements shifted. Faster. Smarter. They adapted. No longer did they attack blindly; they surrounded Ramsay like wolves circling prey, their masks gleaming with an unnatural, pulsing glow — as if aware they were now the only thing keeping them alive. The air grew heavier. The light dimmed. Every step they took echoed like thunder. Ramsay rolled his shoulders once, his sword humming faintly in his grasp. The faint vibration that ran through the blade told him what words could not — the sword was awake, ready, and waiting. Ramsay spoke quietly in his mind to his sword since he knew they were bound by soul. Ramsay's voice barely more than a whisper meant only for his weapon, “They have changed. They’re protecting the masks now… you see that?”. The sword’s voice, calm a

If any weapon could help him win this fight, it was that blade. However, when Ramsay stood motionless, holding the sword without engaging the five men, confusion spread among them. Why wasn’t he attacking? Why was he just standing there?Only Esther understood what was happening. Her gaze sharpened as she murmured to herself, "He’s speaking to it… through his mind".Their worries faded the moment Ramsay moved. Without warning, he surged forward, attacking the five men surrounding him with a burst of speed that none of them could follow. The others came to witness what they hadn’t during the battle with the Syrics. Yet, all eyes gradually turned toward Ramsay, and he couldn’t help but notice the unspoken words on their faces — the expectation, the silent urging.Ramsay frowned, trying to read them. Their expressions spoke louder than any words could. It was clear they were hoping he would move forward. His voice broke the silence, tinged with disbelief and frustration, “You should tell me it is not what I am thinking.”“And what is it that you are thinking?” Lilia asked Ramsay, her voice cautious but curious.“That you are all asking me to go forward, like you are all asking me to go and die", Ramsay said bluntly.Noah frowned, saying to Ramsay, “We said nothing like that, Ramsay.”“You all don’t need to say it. Your faces say it all — just like you are staring at me right now", Ramsay snapped, his gaze sweeping over them.“Or what you’re thinking. We are only lo
