Each of the guards at the two towers at the gate was also asleep before they were woken up by Esther who entered their minds. When the guards woke up, they saw Marcelos and his armies from afar marching speedily toward them then they raised the alarm of Marcelos and his armies matching toward them by sounding the alarm bell.

Esther had just told everyone about them being in danger and that Marcelos was marching to them all when they all heard the alarm bell. Hearing the alarm bell, they all knew what it meant and believed Esther to be telling the truth then Hawk told everyone to go prepare. The princes, the princesses, Lilia, Ryn, Benjamin, Nelson, Hemdal, and Hawk left the room to get prepared while Karl asked Esther if she was okay. Esther said to Karl ''am not.
