CHAPTER 180

Leo stood before Theodore in the study, his usual stoic demeanor slightly softened.

"Sir, I’d like to request a day off." he said, his voice calm but carrying a note of urgency.

Theodore arched a brow, intrigued. Leo rarely asked for time off unless it was absolutely necessary.

"A day off? That’s not like you, Leo. What’s the occasion?" Theodore asked casually.

Leo hesitated, then replied.

"I want to visit my family. It’s been a while, and I need to check in on them."

Theodore studied him for a moment. Something about Leo’s tone felt off, but Theodore decided not to push.

"Alright, you’ve earned it. Take the day."

"Thank you, sir." Leo said, bowing slightly before turning to leave.

As soon as Leo exited, Theodore leaned back in his chair, deep in thought. Leo wasn't the type to lie outright, but there was something peculiar about his request. Theodore picked up his phone and made a quick call to one of his trusted men.
