15. Consequences
Different feelings soared through the atmosphere. Lucian, who sat in the chairman's chair, proudly raised his head at the revelation. The manager, whose eyes looked like they were about to burst out of their eye socket, stared at Gladys with a white face, while Gladys, whose weight of action and words dawned on her, stood on shaky legs. Her eyes panned at Lucian, mixed with disbelief and panic. Feeling her lungs short for air, she scrambles to her knees. "Please, sir, I didn't know who you were. Please forgive me," she lamented, tears pricking the corners of her eyes.

Lucian, who wore a stern expression, stared at Gladys, who continuously bowed her head to the ground, hoping her pleas would ease whatever punishment would be thrown at her.

The manager, noticing Lucian's silence, rushed forward, also bowing his head apologiously. "I'm sorry, sir, I have failed to train the staff to have the basic attributes required by a ten-star "restaurant," Mark said, hoping Lucian would give a reply
