"I want to buy the mall," Lucian's voice filled the room while his figure relaxed into his chair. Through Mrs. Davis's transparent glasses, Lucian could see the Lady trying to get over her shock. Mrs.Davis

thought Lucian might have an issue that requires the manager's attention, considering his intense conversation with Henry.

Mrs.Davis shot him a skeptical look." Excuse me?" Her tone was sharp, indicating her business character.

Lucian let out a long sigh and repeated. "I want to buy the Universal Mall," he replied, placing his hand underneath his jaw.

The Lady scanned his face for any hint of jok but saw that Lucian was serious. Though Lucian was confident and wore a subtle intimidating aura, his current sense of fashion didn't fit into the business world, which made Mrs.Davis doubt he might be a scammer.

Lucian noticed that Mrs.Davis was suspicious of him, but she didn't say anything, which meant she was a businesswoman trying to play safe.

"I never took an interest in the mall before, but for some reason, I want to buy it," Lucina said in a foreign tone, adjusting to his chair. "Your staff stopped me from going into the VIP section due to my appearance, and I believe you won't make the same mistake, Mrs.Davis,"

Mrs.Davis scoffs, leaning into her chair. She had seen several scammers and handled them differently, which gave her the experience and confidence she wore, but neither of the scammers in her past was like him. "Do you even know how much this Mall cost?" Mrs.Davis asked, clamping her hands together and hoping to see right through Lucian's intentions.

Lucian, with an expressionless face, says." I don't know, but I'm willing to pay if you name a price," Mrs.Davis was stunned by his reply, making Lucian shift his glance around her office, stopping at a painting across the room.

'If you are willing to name a price!' Lucian's words ring in her head. She wouldn't be surprised if a billionaire in their late thirties used those words whenever they wanted to purchase a property for themselves, but hearing it from college students stunned Mrs.Davis.

"Mr?"

"Lucian Morningstar," he replied.

"Mr.Morninstar, are you here to waste my time? Because if you're, I won't let you off the hook," Mrs.Davis said sharply, hoping to scare Lucian into stating his actual business and not playing games with her.

"Why don't you come up with a price and give me the account details and if the payment goes through, you can decide for yourself," Lucian suggested.

Mrs.Davis was quiet, contemplating his suggestion. After a while, she nodded, brought out her phone, and dialed a number. After a few rings, a male voice could be heard from the other end of the line. A few minutes later, she was done with her call.

She dropped her cell phone on the table and leaned forward. "The mall has a price. If you can meet it, it will be yours," Mrs.Davis informed.

"Marvelous," Lucian replied. "State your price then," Lucian replied confidently.

Mrs.Davis smiled and said. "one billion dollars for half the share of the mall and another one billion dollars for the full share including the two branches, making it a total of twenty billion dollars."

Lucian was quiet while doing the maths in his head. Nobody in his right sense would buy a company without doing the necessary calculations; though the price for the mall is high, the same mall would generate more income In the years to come. It was a good investment considering the economy is hicking every day. Mrs.Davis noticed Lucian's hesitation and had a smile pasted on her lips; she knew no matter how rich the kid was, he wouldn't be able to afford it.

"How much income is the mall generating annually?"

"Approximately 20 million dollars," Mrs.Davis replied.

Lucian nodded his head. It was a good deal, and he was ready to take it. "Let begin with the payment, shall we?"

Mr.Davis raised her brow but didn't say anything. Rather, she picked up the desk phone and asked someone to visit her office. After a few minutes, a young lady appeared in her office.

"Mrs.Sally, I need you to supervise and confirm Mr. Morningstar's transaction of twenty billion dollars," Mrs.Davis said, earning a curious look from the young Lady who shifted her gaze to Lucian's expressionless face. "Mr. Morning is a client and wishes to purchase the Universal Mall," Mrs. Davis nodded at Sally.

Sally gave the account details to Lucian, who brought out his old crack phone to do the transaction. When Sally saw the device, she furrowed her brow with an understanding that Lucian was going to pay twenty billion dollars with a phone not worth a hundred dollars. She wanted to interrupt and tell her boss that Lucina might be a scammer, but she didn't dare go against Mrs.Davis, who was watching Luvina with earnest curiosity.

Meanwhile, the mall security staff were already outside Mrs. Davis's office waiting for her command in case the transactions failed and Lucian turned out to be a scammer.

Lucian's finger swiftly glided across his phone and logged into his mobile app. After confirming his balance, he nodded with satisfaction before he entered the account details to make the payment.
