CHAPTER 1: THE DEATH FLIGHT

On September 1, 2022, at Long Beach Airport, the number of passengers was highly sparse. This is a rare sight ever seen.

A male flight attendant sighed as he looked around and winked at a nearby female flight attendant. He whispered loudly, making her smile, and the two quickly walked into the flight lounge area.

Flashes of passengers floundering on long benches flashed past the male flight attendant's line of sight. He quietly disappeared into the private aisle to enter the plane.

Not more than thirty minutes later, the passengers of flight LBNY013 began to move inside the cabin. The flight attendant raised her eyebrows, looked at it, and then said to the male flight attendant: "It seems that today's passengers are not much different from our crew."

The male flight attendant smiled and kissed her forehead lightly. He began to move to the lounge area and prepare a few things needed to serve the flight. Seven guests also sat quietly in their seats without forgetting to complain about the quality of the aircraft.

The sound of the engine howled. The plane left the runway and took off into the gloomy sky of Long Beach, not knowing that behind the gray clouds, there was a ton of tragedy waiting for them.

As is customary, the flight attendant must check the list of passengers on the flight. The flight attendant was slightly annoyed when the four female and three male passengers started moving out of their seats. Those people entered the toilet area with a highly rushed and hurried look.

Of course, for a seasoned flight attendant like her, she assures that they are trying to act as adults as people say it's better to 'have fun' on the plane when they There will be a feeling of happiness in the blue sky, both literally and figuratively.

After serving and instructing passengers on basic flight information, she moved to the flight attendant's room.

As soon as she saw the male flight attendant attentively preparing a few glasses of water taken from the test tube, she frowned and reminded: "Frank, what are you doing?"

"This is my private matter; you don't need to care about it." The male flight attendant seemed annoyed to see her like that.

He took a small pill from his pocket, gave it to her, and said: "Drink it now."

The flight attendant hastily pushed the hand of the male flight attendant away, frowned, and said in a challenging voice mixed with anger: “Are you going to continue using such nonsense on the flight again? How many times have I told you? As long as I see you like this again, we'll break up."

The male flight attendant quickly explained but still couldn't seem to calm her anger, he still reassured his angry girlfriend, but it seemed that all his efforts were useless in front of the eyes full of her prejudices.

He said: “This is not a banned substance! I want to make money…for both of us. Anyway, you're pregnant… I want to prepare you and the baby for the best. I swear… this is not a banned substance…”

The hostess quickly realized that the male flight attendant's face had become extremely pitiful. She clasped his shoulders tightly and said quietly: “But… what is it? You have to tell me.”

Suddenly, the male flight attendant's phone rang softly, but the flight attendant immediately recognized it as an alarm sound. She just stared at him, waiting for an answer.

However, the male flight attendant was extremely confused. He squeezed the flight attendant's jaw and then tried to insert the pill into her mouth. The flight attendant was both scared and angry at his actions.

She quickly pulled her knee up high, aimed directly at his crotch, and pushed it hard. Frank collapsed from the pain. The female flight attendant clenched her fists and yelled at him: “Frank, you're crazy! Is this the best thing you want for the baby and me? We will break up."

The flight attendant finished speaking, adjusted her clothes, and moved quickly out of the plane's lounge area. Immediately, she smelled a familiar scent that she was sure was velvet rose.

Because next to her apartment is a florist specializing in this kind of velvet roses. The flight attendant felt quite uncomfortable because she guessed that a particular passenger had used perfume in an 'overdone' way. The flight attendant sighed. She was concerned that the rest of the passengers would "attack" her with complaints and lament the perfume's strong scent.

But when the flight attendant went to the passengers' seats, they were completely motionless. The hostess felt that things were becoming unreasonable. She softly asked them if they needed her to serve drinks, but no one answered.

The flight attendant reached out, gently shook a male passenger, and discovered that he had stopped breathing. Only then did the flight attendant realize that all the other passengers had died. She shouted: “Frank! Frank! Oh my God! Do you have to see this?”

Frank immediately ran out of the restroom, went to the flight attendant's side, and witnessed the bizarre scene on the plane. Frank looked at the bodies one at a time and then said quickly: “My God! What's going on? Why are they all dead?"

Frank's eyes immediately turned to panic. When she saw Frank's eyes, the hostess immediately guessed that he had something to do with this. She grabbed his hand and pulled him quickly into the flight attendant's lounge area.

She immediately asked Frank: "What happened outside is related to you, right? Frank, don't try to hide it from me… tell me what the hell is going on?”

Frank looked at the flight attendant and said quickly: “You must take that pill! Take that pill right now!”

Frank's sudden appearance gave the hostess an extremely unsettling feeling. However, a sudden shock hit her head, making her dizzy and almost collapse.

Frank quickly hugged the hostess. He stuffed a pill into her mouth, but her whole body gradually cooled down, and she lost consciousness like a person in a delirious state.

Frank shouted, trying to call out the hostess's name, but she didn't answer.

“Bob!”

From behind, a reasonably strong hit knocked Frank down, knocking him unconscious. Four figures stood looking at Frank and his girlfriend lying on each other and suddenly burst out laughing. They seemed pretty indifferent to the deaths of those around them and Frank right now.

One group turned to the other and asked: "Isaac, what should we do with them?"

The man smiled, didn't say another word, just stared at Frank for a long time, then motioned for the other three to drag the body of the hostess and Frank into the cabin of the flight attendant.

After everything was in order, he said: “Kenny, find the black box and destroy it. Maxi and Ben deal with the rest of the crew. Make sure we're in New York as planned."

Isaac's assignment was unambiguous and specific, but he could not have imagined that, from the cockpit, the captain and co-pilot had observed all their actions.

The captain looked at the co-pilot and said, "We can't let them go to New York. We have to land on the nearest runway.”

The co-pilot thought for a long time and then said: “The nearest airport is Los Angeles airport, but an emergency landing like this is challenging… and the aviation department will have a hard time accepting our offer if they don't. Get basic flight information. What if Frank isn't dead yet?"

The captain glared at the co-pilot: “I will take full responsibility. The situation that just happened outside, if not aviation terrorism or plane hijacking, what else could it be?"

Immediately, the captain turned on the radio to report the situation on the plane to the aviation department and asked for an emergency landing at Los Angeles airport. However, before he could finish speaking, the co-pilot quickly pulled out a knife and pointed it at the captain.

The captain quickly swerved to the side and locked the co-pilot's hand. The captain punched the co-pilot in the stomach, causing the co-pilot to collapse in his seat. The captain was in a hurry to open the cockpit door, but the co-pilot immediately stopped him.

The co-pilot grabbed the captain's arm and said, “If you open the door… we'll all die. Don't act foolishly anymore. Will you listen to what I say?"

The captain threw another punch in the face of the co-pilot and opened the door. As soon as the door was ajar, the scent of velvet rose faintly into the cockpit.

The captain hastily locked the door of the cabin crew's lounge area adjacent to the cockpit. But just as he closed it, a slight tremor passed through his head. The captain collapsed suddenly and stopped breathing.

At that moment, an emergency call from the US Civil Aviation Administration was connected to the Pentagon. Secretary of Defense George Hawkins picked up the phone with a highly annoyed look. He felt that his happy day had been ruined by the 'sparrows' at the aviation bureau.

The person's voice from the US Department of Aviation immediately changed George's face. As soon as he finished answering the phone, he turned to his assistant and said quickly: “Plug into the Oval Office! Right now! The President must be the second to know about this.”
