Chapter 103

"No!" She screamed out loud.

The sound of the explosions shook Sarah to her bones. The officers had forced her along with them in order to ensure that she was safe.

Tears bubbled in her eyes, as she stared at the flames which had engulfed the forest and everything that was within ten miles of the mansion. The officers pulled her back with them, as her feet prepared themselves to make a run for it.

"Please! Calm down, Ma'am!" The officer who held her said to her.

Sarah fell to the ground crying and grabbing her chest. This had not been the plan, although, it had been a part of her fears.

Her voice ceased completely, and she stared helplessly at the smoke and fire sparks that sizzled in the air. Her breath had been reduced to quiet gasps, the wind had become frostily cold as smoke clouds covered the atmosphere where they stood.

With every breath she took, her body shivered. Nothing could be seen for miles because that was how thick the clouds were.
