Chapter 150

Mrs Brown sat in the living room waiting for her husband to return. Her expression was stiff and unreadable.

At the sound of the front door opening and shutting, she perched up.

"What is going on?" She asked him.

"What do you mean?" He placed his brief case on the table.

"Why are you suddenly in support of James Johnson and his relationship with Sarah?" She queried.

"Why shouldn't I be? Isn't it time you let go of old wounds?" He asked her back.

"Old wounds? You call his act of deceiving us into thinking he was poor an old wound? On what account does he reserve the right to deceive us?" She asked him.

"You really have a problem with Sarah being happy? Well, I am not by any means going to fight her on this one anymore. Sarah has done everything that we required of her. Not once did she ever complain and now, I leave her to be happy with whatever decision she has been led to take." Mr. Brown retorted.
