Chapter 92

James turned to face Williams. Sarah clenched her fist as his arm tightened around her waist.

"Shall I have this dance?" Williams asked her.

Mrs. Brown basked in the light of it all. Two rich suitors were fighting over her daughter.

"Go on, Sarah. Have a dance with the man. He is your fiance after all." She said to Sarah.

James' expression remained calm and unaffected, even though within him, he boiled over at the sight of everything. While his eyes stayed down, Sarah's eyes remained on him.

His expression was cold and unbothered.

"I'm not interested in dancing right now," Sarah said and walked away.

James followed her movements and watched her walk into the restroom.

"You seem to not know that Sarah has moved on from you. You should take the hint now, Mr. Johnson." Williams whispered to him, as soon as everyone had dispersed.

The hall was a big one, gold chandeliers hung at every major spot of the large hall. James turned to him with a smirk on his face.
